Buying Tips

Get the most out of your golf tees when they are plastic. Wooden tees break easier. However, some golfers say plastic tees don�t have enough give when you strike the ball.

Similar to brush tees, Epoch tees reduce friction and increase speed and distance. The plastic tees look more like traditional golf tees.

Consider golf tees with marks along the side to assist with consistent ball placement.

Get a golf tee with the right length. Choose from 2 1/8��, 2 ���, 3 ��� and 4��.

Choose the short tees while hitting your hybrids and irons. Use longer tees for your drivers. If you only bring one kind of tee out golfing, choose a tee in the middle of the two lengths you would use.

Don�t get a longer tee and insert it deeper into the ground. The deeper you insert the tee into the ground, the more resistance you create, thus losing distance. You also increase the likelihood of the tee breaking.
