Callaway Quantum Max Fairway Wood

About This Item

What Our Experts Are Saying:

"The new Quantum Max fairway wood from Callaway has changed my woods game completely. I use my 3 wood and 7 wood a lot, whether it’s off the tee or into greens, those clubs feel like they are always in my hands. I’m able to launch the ball in a consistent window due to the Speed Wave 2.0, which moved 40 grams of weight low in the head and towards the face. The Step Sole Design has also been key to my success; I’m able to make cleaner contact with the ball without the sole interacting too much with the ground and I’ve experienced faster ball speeds than ever because of the Ai-Optimized face. I recommend the Quantum Max fairway woods to anyone that’s looking for a consistent ball flight from the mis-hits to center strikes. " - Brendan, Master Club Fitter at Golf Galaxy Columbia, Maryland

Quantum Max is designed for easy, high launch and built-in forgiveness, giving players more confidence on every swing. Its shallow face design enhances consistency, and its versatility makes it the ideal choice for a wide range of golfers.

Speed Wave 2.0

  • Positions up to 40g of weight low and forward for faster ball speeds and consistent launch. The new Speed Wave 2.0 design frees up even more face flex, boosting energy transfer — especially on low-face strikes.

New Step Sole Design

  • The new Step Sole Design reduces turf contact on the sole for efficient strikes and consistent centerface contact. A reshaped heel adds stability through impact, helping keep the face square for greater control and accuracy.

Next Generation Ai-Optimized Face Design

  • Consistent performance across the entire face, thanks to smarter face flex unlocked by Ai. Every part of the face is precisely tuned through advanced Ai modeling to optimize speed, spin, launch, and accuracy based on real fairway wood impact patterns.

Clean, Streamlined and Versatile Shape

  • Designed for players who want speed, optimal spin, and reliable consistency. With a neutral CG and confidence-inspiring look at address, it’s Callaway's most versatile fairway wood for a wide range of skill levels.

OptiFit4 Hosel Adjustability (3W-5W)

  • Features independent loft and lie adjustability, offering seven total configurations to fine-tune launch angle and shot shape—whether you’re looking for a higher trajectory, straighter ball flight, or a draw-biased setup.

Best Fairway Wood I Ever Own.

The best fairway wood I ever own, like it very much, now keep it in my bag. It shot long from tee box and forgiving too, and dispersion is tight, compare to taylormade.

Quantum Fairways

I was a Taylormade guy until I hit the Quantum 3 wood. I now have the driver, 3 wood and now 5 wood and 7 wood. Love the Quantum fairways!

Easiest To Hit 3 Wood From All Golf Brands

The best 3 wood in the last 7-8 years. Easy to hit off the turf and you do not really sacrifice workability. After all, you need this club for 230+ yard distances and do not want to hit too curvy.

Difficult Club

perhaps the most difficult club to hit, I can so easily hit a 9 wood or a 3 wood, I can figure out a 5 or this quantum 7 wood

Best Fairway I’ve Owned.

Easiest to hit 5 wood I ever owned. Last played the Ping 440 which I liked but found the Callaway more consistent and straighter.

Improved Dispersion!

WOW ! I was a big fan of my Callaway Paradym 5 wood for some time now. And I really had no intention of upgrading this year…… But, I decided to DEMO the new Callaway Quantum 5 Wood during a Callaway DEMO day at my community club recently…… Boy ! The new technology does make a big difference on miss hits off the face and it appears I’ve gained some surprising new control and improved dispersion on shots off the surf ! Love it !
