Warning: Does Not Float

I really, really love this water bottle. However, it does not float. My friend has a larger Yeti bottle that does, so when I accidentally knocked mine into the lake, I didn’t panic and jump to retrieve it. It sunk right to the bottom and broke my heart.

Perfect Size Bottle.

This is our fourth bottle. Each one in the family got one. They have a great variety of colors so it’s perfect for us. Sometimes the lid gets a weird smell, perhaps collecting something in the oring. The first lid can get very tight and it’s hard to open at times, even more if you have your hands wet.

I’ve had an 18oz Rambler for years and it has served me well. Recently went to the new Boston store and saw the 26oz in Ridgeline (blue/grey) and decided I needed to upgrade. It fits in my backpack pockets, holds plenty of water, and the color is gorgeous.

Chug Cap Smells Horrid After Few Uses.

Would not recommend purchasing. The chug cap gets a horrible mildew smell after only a few times of use, making this bottle high maintenance. Having to soak chug cap in vinegar and hot water every week. For the money that’s just ridiculous. If they had a brain they would make it out of stainless steel, not plastic an silicone. I will never purchase yeti again. You’re really just paying for the name.
