Introducing the Formula Houston 90, an all-new addition to the Formula family. Inspired by the Concept 59 platform and named for Houston’s role in space exploration, this design reflects a continued focus on performance through advanced geometry.

Formula Houston 90 was developed to evaluate how head shape influences stroke mechanics. Testing showed that a more square, angular profile consistently promotes a straighter stroke path. The sharp perimeter geometry and integrated top and bottom rails provide strong visual cues that help keep the putter head square to the target line for longer through the stroke.

Engineered for true zero torque performance, Formula Houston 90 is designed for players who want to eliminate arc and face rotation as much as possible. The anti-rotational shaft position combined with the highly linear head shape creates an extremely stable setup that favors a straight-back, straight-through motion with minimal face movement.

The multi-material construction and high MOI profile provide strong resistance to twisting and consistent ball speed across the face. The structured geometry also enhances alignment and face awareness at address, helping promote a more consistent start line and strike pattern.

Formula Houston 90 is available in a standard specification at approximately 370 grams and features zero shaft lean, allowing compatibility with all standard grip options. A counterbalanced configuration is also available by selecting the heavy option, which includes increased head weight and a longer 15-inch grip to further stabilize the stroke and reduce rotation.

The Science of Formula

Most golfers suffer from inconsistent results in putting.

Most professional players are playing mallets now and an even higher percentage of amateurs are too. Most mallets have centers of gravity that are positioned towards the rear of the head and thus produce a putter face that opens in a golfer’s backswing. If you have or desire to have a straight back, straight through stroke path, you’ll be best suited to the Formula [90] model. This type of stroke path works best with very little face rotation. Formula [90] is designed to stay very square to any path but really shines for a stroke like this. With over 6,000 MOI Formula [90] is also incredibly forgiving.

Designed 90 degrees toe-up. This putter is shafted the most rearward from center of all Formula Series putters, with three lines to help you align properly. Formula [90] also features a multi-material construction, allowing for a very forward center of gravity and massive MOI, making this design extremely forgiving on mishits. Formula [90] is zero-torque design that will stay square throughout your stroke, making it the perfect match for a golfer looking to eliminate face rotation in his or her stroke.
