I Should've Left The Old Softspikes On My Shoes

The included wrench worked great to remove the old softspikes that were firmly in place & the included tool firmly locked the new softspikes in place. However, 8 of the 14 new softspikes were gone after only one round of golf.

I haven't had a chance to install the spikes yet, but I have used the gripper wrench on some particularly stubborn pulsar spikes didn't want to come out with a standard spike wrench. Takes a few tries but eventually got them to budge. Keep in mind however that it could be a destructive removal, about half the time the removed spikes were rather trashed.

Upgraded Replacement

My softspikes were in desperate need of replacement. I was out of town and did not have the proper tool to get the old out and twist the new in. So very glad that I purchased this kit. If not for the included ripper wrench, I'd still have the old spikes in my shoes!! That wrench removed even the most stubborn and worn out spikes. As for the spikes, they work great. I now feel very planted when taking a swing. Entire process was quick and painless. If only golf was as easy.

I swear I’m getting an extra 15yrds. I have foot joy traditions and they come stock with spikes but they aren’t “sticky” enough. On a hot dry day, the spikes will do but I play a lot of early tee times so it’s always wet. Once the spikes get clogged with mud they are pretty much useless so I decided to try a “spikier” cleat and I’m super happy. I feel like I’m generating more power now that I’m secure to the ground. 10/10 the ripper tool is a life saver.
