Callaway Full Toe SP Wedge

About This Item

Full Toe SP is designed for players who open the face, demand control, and need versatile bunker play. Combining full-face Spin Gen 2.0 grooves with 48% more groove area than conventional shaped wedges, a new, refined shape, and optimized CG weighting from Spin Pocket™ construction, delivering high spin across the face, aggressive stopping power, and versatility.

NEW FULL TOE SHAPE

  • The Full Toe shape provides more face area with an enhanced toe height for players who like to open the face. The shaping is designed to add versatility and confidence to short shots around the green and out of the bunker.

FULL FACE GROOVES

  • With Full Face Spin Gen 2.0 grooves running heel to toe, 48% more groove area, and a 17° tighter pitch spacing, Full Toe SP generates more groove edge contact and aggressive stopping power for maximum short game versatility.

SPIN POCKET™ CONSTRUCTION

  • By strategically removing mass low and shifting it up, we’ve created our highest CG ever delivering maximum spin and improves versatility on open-face shots.

VERSATILE GRIND OPTIONS

  • The J Grind features lower effective bounce with aggressive heel relief and added camber, allowing it to open easily while maintaining stability on fuller shots. The JW Grind (62° only) evolves the design with a wider sole and higher bounce to make bunker play more accessible without sacrificing short-game versatility.

I Really Dislike This Wedge.

i own 24 wedges from six brands. This is by far the worst sand wedge I have ever used. It's terrible no matter how you square or open the face. When square, it dives. When open, it skips.

The Best.

The full toe wedges are the best. I have both the 54 and 60 degree wedges.

Feels Great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got it to replace my Jaws 58 degree which was feeling very heavy. I've played 4 rounds using it for approach shots and chipping. It feels balanced and generates lots of spin and I'm getting more distance than expected (85 - 90) which is perfect to replace the 58. I really like the look and feel. So far, I'm loving it!

Great Feel And Spin, But Digs On More Full Swings

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve played the Full Toe SP 58° J-Grind (with the rounded leading edge) for about a month. The feel is great and it generates tons of spin on pitches and mid-length chips around the green. However, it feels very purpose-built. Despite the rounded leading edge, I still have to open the face to keep it from digging into soft course conditions. It could just be me. I have a hard time sweeping the leading edge under the ball without thinning it or digging. Square-face shots and 3/4 to full swings are tough to execute consistently because the turf interaction is so aggressive. Great touch club around the green, but it lacks the full-swing versatility I need from a 58°.

I should never buy a golf club online. My mistake.

62* Jw Grind

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I picked up the 62* JW grind because I loved the old PM grind 64. I find this to be a much improved design. One would expect this to do well short sided and in the bunker (or both in my case), and it does, but what I also found is the for extended pitches from the short stuff you can really get the ball spinning with low trajectory. Well done Callaway!

Too Heavy A Head.

Head is much heavier than past wedges. I didn’t expect such a drastic change.
