JOLT Technology uses short vibrating bursts to confirm PinSeeker Technology has isolated and locked onto the target, eliminating any doubt, and a faster processor translates to faster yardage readings. Multi-coated HD Optics with 5x magnification provide yardage accurate to within a yard from a range of 5-1,000 yards. The new ergonomic design is 30% smaller than the Tour v3, making it even more convenient to carry.

Not What I Was Looking For

I went in seeking to purchase the V5 but it "wasnt in stock". Salesperson mentioned the V4 is "what I needed". The one I purchased (V4) sure does not feel or look new, and I could swear it has been used before. Strike 2 for Golf Galaxy in my book.

Great Tool For Golfers Of All Skill Levels

I received immediate benefit from acquiring this range finder the day I purchased. The accuracy is remarkable and it has served useful for helping me avoid mishits on drives and approach shots on par 5s as well by letting me measure landmarks on the course. It gives nice feedback to let you know you've correctly hit the pin for distance. It's already helped me shave a couple of strokes off my scorecard and I can't wait to try it on courses I've not played in a while.

Like size. Only issue is picking up yardage over 150 yds.

Doesn't Lock In Target As Well As Others

Bought since I broke a different brand (Nikon/Callaway). It was on sale, so price was okay. Three issues: first, it doesn't lock onto the flag stick well, esp. if you're a little shakey. Second, there is only a short eyepiece with no soft cup. Third, no clip on attachment. It comes in a case, which is only useful for storage. Not convenient to take in and out of case during play.
