Fantastic Truck Cooler

Was looking for a cooler to fit in the truck and this more that hit the mark. It fits perfectly in the bed of a Jeep Gladiator with a tonneau cover. Great for grocery runs and bringing back ice cream from my favorite place in my hometown. It gets a little heavy with a full load but not too cumbersome.

No Locking Mechanism.

The locking mechanism is out of stock - has been for weeks. Just waiting to order one.

Wish Replacement Straps Were Available.

Fantastic cooler. My puppy loved the taste of the shoulder strap. Unfortunately Yeti didn’t think that anyone would ever need to replace it. Replacement straps aren’t available. Seems like a big miss.

Ice,3 Days! Insulate The Drain Plug! Condensation!

Bought a Roadie 24 Hard Cooler. Returned it. 1. Even after pre-cooling we couldn’t get it to keep 20lb of ice for even 3 days. It is hot here but this is not what we expected of a Yeti. Suggestion: The super drain plug is easy to use and seals well but…. Please insulate the drain plug! Noticed water under the cooler. Checked and saw the plug and the area around it had a significant amount of condensation. Hot and humid here but that’s not ok. Condensation means there’s a significant lack of insulation. I tried a simple fix by cutting a slightly oversized piece of polyethylene foam and stuffing it into the hole in the drain plug. Fixed, no more condensation. Suggestion, invent a way to insulate the drain plug. Thanks!

Both this cooler for a family trip ans held the drinks very and ice cold for a long time !!

Damaged!

I received either a returned cooler, a used cooler, or a poorly packed cooler. There were scrapes, and scratches on it. There was even a gouge on it. This is an expensive item. And it was a gift. I wouldn’t have even kept it in this condition. I called Dick’s 800# and got a very nice lady that reordered another one and promised it would arrive fast..and it did, since I told her I needed it soon for a gift. I also told her to make sure it was packed well. I had my husband go with me to lug the first one back to Dick’s, since this was a rather heavy item. Excuse the length of this review. But, I had a similar issue last year with a Yeti item I received in not new condition from Dick’s.

I bought this cooler for a weekend getaway everything was cold on the third day with a small refill of ice.

I have not been satisfied with the cooler, it’s not any better than the Stanley I sent back! It doesn’t keep anything but for a day!
