Mizuno JPX925 Hot Metal HL Hybrid/Irons

About This Item

JPX-925 Fli-Hi

The JPX925 Fli-Hi is the perfect addition to the top end of any set for the player looking to maximize height and control in stronger lofts. By replacing your longest irons with these wood type designs, a player can gain more practical distance gaps at the longer end of the set. Weight is located internally on the back side to encourage a draw bias in addition to higher launch. The JPX Fli-Hi can be included within a custom iron set, with the same shafts and specs as your irons.

FEATURES

  • Flow Profile Design: Stronger lofts feature a wider profile graduating to a tighter, hybrid shape as loft increased through the set.
  • Optimal Material Selection: Combining the strength of a 17-4 stainless steel face with the softer 431 stainless steel body allows for maximum speed and hosel bendability.
  • Wave Sole: Engages more of the head at impact to deliver an additional ball speed contribution for greater consistency of distance.
  • Speed Bevel: Blunted leading edge created a positive bounce surface to allowing the club to glide more quickly through the turf.
  • Harmonic Impact Technology: Fine-tuned head geometry delivers ideal feel and feedback at impact.

JPX-925 Hot Metal HL Irons

The JPX925 Hot Metal HL redefines the performance of an already industry-leading franchise. Combining the power and speed of Nickel Chromoly with a newly engineered CORTECH Design featuring a Contour Ellipse face, the consistency of distance across the entire impact zone has never been as long and predictable. The addition of tungsten weighting low in the head adds a height and landing angle element that makes hitting precise shots into greens easier than ever. Designed for golfers seeking a maximum launch and spin, the Hot Metal HL offers the same advanced technology in a wider, easier to elevate package.

FEATURES

  • CORTECH Design featuring Contour Ellipse Face: A completely re-engineered multi-thickness face profile that pushes to the extremes, getting up to 30% thinner than the previous generation. The Contour Ellipse Face enhances center ball speed and ensures maximum speed retention throughout the impact zone.
  • Multi-Material Construction with Tungsten Weighting: Tungsten positioned low in the 4-7 irons creates a higher launch with a lower sweet spot, producing a steeper landing angle.
  • Chromoly 4140M: Allows for a high strength face with a bendable hosel for fitting, due to its high strength to weight ratio and malleability.
  • Seamless Cup Face: One-piece Cup Face geometry with thinned areas revolving 360 degrees around the perimeter, increasing rebound area for maximum ball speed across the entire face.
  • Variable Sole Thickness: Increase overall face flex area for added CORAREA.
  • Balanced Stability Frame: Balanced weighting improves control while maintaining forgiveness and producing a tour preferred vibration and sound.
  • Harmonic Impact Technology: Fine-tuned head geometry delivers ideal feel and feedback at impact.
  • Acoustic Sound Ribs: Precisely dialled in vibration patterns for a solid, explosive impact sound.
  • Chromoly 4140M: Allows for a high strength face with a bendable hosel for fitting, due to its high strength to weight ratio and malleability.
  • White Satin Brush Finish: A modern elegant, yet durable non-glare finish.
