Bought this with reservations. I wasn't sure if it would pick up a ball that was in the mud. To my surprise it worked great. I would recommend this.

My wife loves this as it allows her to get those errant shots out of the creeks & ponds and save money on balls

Used mine 3 times and the tip bent so easily trying to get the ball to release. When I tried to straighten it out, you know the rest.

i won’t buy another one!! I recieve one as a gift and 90% of thr time the balls i try to retrieve slipped through the head making the retriever useless. Their customer service responded to my request as the problem was under warranty..laughable

This is really nice and easy to use. A little pricey and don't mind paying that as long as he doesn't leave it on the golfcourse

Ball retriever does well retrieving the ball, but the connection of the plastic retriever end to the telescopic shaft with a single rivet is very weak. I have purchased 2 of them and both have broken within 6 months of purchase. I am extremely dissatisfied with this product and don't think I can bring myself to purchase another one. Why can't Bag Boy make a metal retriever end, with the plastic or rubber retriever part as an inset to the metal end? The thinnest and weakest point of the current model would be much stronger if "metal on metal" parts were used to connect the end to the telescopic pole. Attaching a flimsy piece of plastic to the metal telescopic pole with a single rivet, is very inefficient and weak.

Bought this retriever to replace another style that broke. I bought the longest version as we have island and peninsula greens that are pretty high. No problem reaching balls, very easy in most cases to turn the retriever and capture balls. Pays for itself.
