Worry about the brightness when I turn on at home but on field it was really bright enough to play

Accurate Course Layout

So far so good. I'm a bit fat fingered when it comes to selecting a location for the pin on the green. Course layout is very accurate, shape of greens closely match actual shape of green Sucks down the battery. I would like to deactivate notifications on the watch so it isn't vibrating when an email or text message comes in, this may extend battery life a bit, but the drain is when it is being used on course.

Junk. The Battery And Charger Are Terrible

I've had issues with the battery and charger from the beginning. Contacted Garmin and they say it needs to be charged by my computer and also clean repeatedly if I sweat. Huh? I wear it playing golf. I'm going to sweat in it. One of the first troubleshooting items is about the battery life and charger. Clearly they have issues with it and they won't resolve the problem. The watch is less than 5 months old. Glad I paid extra for the insurance that doesn't kick in until the one year mfg warranty ends. Don't waste your time or money. I thought apple was bad. I've had to go 7 days thus far without a watch during the day because the watch didn't charge properly overnight. I paid $350 for a watch that can only be charged a certain way? Give me a break.

The Best Gps Watch I've Owned To Date.

Bought this a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier with the performance. I own a rangefinder and I have apps on my phone but this is hands down the best thing I've added to my golf game. Very precise

Software Needs Work

Ive owned mine for more then a year. the software is half backed. Constantly have to correct hole. As you enter information from the menus don’t accidentally chose the wrong club, etc. because there is no back bottom, which is annoying. But the two biggest problems are the gps just doesn’t keep track of which hole you are on and it has the worst charge cord connection in modern electronics. Loved my early Garmin golf watch (G2), wanted to love this one as my wife gave it to me as a gift and it was expensive. Please Garmin upgrade your software!

When It Works It’s Great!

I am disappointed! Device seems to have a tough time finding satellites. I had temperature on the device and it’s gone. If I start on the 10th hole instead of the first hole I am screwed. Pls give me a site or cd where I can get a tutorial. I don’t want to be an MIT graduate just to be able to use the device. I had a Vivoactive and loved it! The Vivoactive uses common sense to use. This device so far was a waste of my money!
