Awesome Upgrade

I had been eyeing an upgrade from my very reliable S40, I almost went with the S62 when it came out but I didn't like the price point and didn't want to go to the newer version. When the new sensors came out and it was compatible with the S50 at a better price point than the s70, it was a no brainer to upgrade. The GPS connection is so much faster to my old watch and I am no longer getting connection issues, which is especially frustrating when I forget to start my watch on the first tee! The screen is so much brighter and the watch weights even less than my old watch! All in all, I am very happy with the S50. There are some quirks that I'm still getting used to, like the extra button that the S40 doesn't have or the way it navigates differently but those are learnt behaviors that will take a bit of time to relearn. I haven't tried the running/biking/lifestyle features yet but I do love that I no longer have to plug in after every round and I can keep wearing the watch over a 2-day period before needing to recharge. If you're thinking of an upgrade, you won't regret that choice.

Bought the S50 to replace my vivo hr. Love the Garmin watch, wouldn't want any other fitness watch. It is great.

Upgrade

An upgrade from a Garmin S20, easy to use, great display, tracks steps and mileage, keeps score the HOLE nine yards. Garmin makes this golf watch almost as much fun as the game itself. Love it!

Great As A Regular Watch As Well

I am wearing this watch daily and it works much as a smart watch as well as a GPS for golf.

Easy To Use And Great Features.

I upgraded from the approach 12 to the S50. I used my S50 for the first time. It is easy to use and very accurate. One of the best features is that very shot distance is measured automatically. Moving the pin on the green and checking the distance to a bunker or dog leg is easily done on the touch screen.

Purchased as replacement for S60 which died after 8+ years. Like the thinner body & Velcro band. Still getting used to commands, but for most part easy to adapt. S50 also collects additional health data which is useful.

Easy to use and precise distance measurement. Pin location selection is very convenient.

Great Upgrade From The S42 Watch.

I just started using the S50 this week. Two rounds in. I use the CT10 shot trackers as well. With the plays like feature and movable pin feature I hardly need to go to my range finder. Loving it so far.

Great Watch For On The Course!

I'm happy with the watch on the golf course and as a health tracker. However, I do wish that it had more features for golf training. You'd think a golf watch would have a tempo trainer and keep up with swings in a practice session!

Great Features

The watch meets all my expectations. Great battery life. Also got the Garmin Golf app. I can now select shot position and get green contours on my watch. Like the full hole layout on the watch for hazards and doglegs. Very happy with it so far.

Great Features For The Price

I bought this a couple weeks ago and I like all the features. I used to have a Apple Watch and a Garmin S20 for golf. Now I have all or most of the features I had with the Apple Watch and I don't have to swap it out for golf. The Golf features are easy to use and the Garmin golf App is a nice feature to review your round.

i bought this watch to replace my S42, which was a very good watch. 2 buttons was something i had to get used to, but otherwise easy to use.
