Poor Quality Band

The GPS is basic & just what I wanted. The band breaks easily & turns the watch to junk. I have bought two, never again. The band issue needs to be addressed, I golf regularly.

Good Watch For Beginners

This is easy to use and gives the beginner golfer all that’s needed such as distance from the pin, hazard location, distance of last shot, etc.

Accurate Distance To Front, Middle, And Back

A few weeks in and does it exactly what it needs to do. I like to walk and I don't like to keep pulling out a range finder. When I do compare it with someone using a range finder it is usually right on or within a few yards. I would recommend as it is light on your wrist and easy to read. Gives distances to hazards and yardage to carry.

Great Watch, Horrible Band

Watch is easy to use and accurate but the band and then a replacement band only lasted 6 months each. I play about twice a week.

A Note About Dead Battery Complaints

This watch meets all my needs -- accurate distances including layups to hazards, easy to use, lightweight. A note about complaints that the battery goes dead and won't recharge: I had that problem early on. I followed Garmin's advice about cleaning the terminals with rubbing alcohol. They really do get grungy with repeated use. After a quick cleaning, the battery charged quickly.

My Garmin

I bought this when it was on sale to replace the one I had. I’ve had mine for 12 years and it is just like new. I bought the new one because I was afraid mine would soon quit. It is accurate and gives me all I need on the course.

Perfect For The Average Golfer!

I have used this watch for the past year and it is a great tool to have on the course. As an average mid-handicap golfer, just being able to know front/mid/back green yardages and distance to hazards is perfect. I hated always having to fiddle with my range finder. Just a quick glance and I’m ready to hit. I have found it to be very reliable (+\- 2-3 yards) compared to range finder. Also, watch is small and doesn’t interfere with wrist motion. I have not had any of the wrist band issues that others have mentioned. Band is comfortable and has some give. Would buy this again without hesitation.
