Be sure your child follows the dress code while playing. Private country club courses have the strictest dress codes. All players must wear a collared shirt tucked into a pair of golf pants. Bermuda-style shorts are accepted at some clubs.

Public golf courses have a wide range of dress codes; some are very causal and allow players to wear T-shirts and denim. Others are a bit stricter. Call ahead to find out restrictions.

Dress codes are not always required at driving ranges. It�s best to dress your children in a collared shirt and khakis so they don�t feel out of place.
