Great But Needs Handle Option To Be Kiss Simple

I think it holds things cold pretty well. My intent was for a day and overnight cooler which it does no problem. 48 hr no problem so far. I am a stickler for white because it is absolutely proven to hold ice longer in sunlight regardless of brand so why not use the better brands in white. The Yeti Roadie 15 needs a handle option like the Roadie 8 IMMEDIATELY! The strap ain’t for everyone. It would rate a 5 star for me if it had a handle option.

Love The Cooler, Strap Leaves A Lot To Be Desired!

I love the cooler, but the way the strap attaches to the cooler leaves a lot to be desired. It frequently comes disconnected when you don't want to. My cooler lives in my truck bed all summer & fall. The strap lasted less than a month before the wind took it off the cooler in the bed of the truck. The strap needs to be designed so it is more securely attached.

Not What I Expected.

I am very disappointed in this cooler. I purchased my cooler and immediately the strap started falling off one side when I pick it up, slamming down on my feet multiple times. I reached out to yeti asking for a new strap, and I was told there were no replacement straps, and that they would replace the whole cooler. I could only choose from older colors, none that I was interested in. I already had stickers I had saved for years all over it, and I did not want any other color. I managed to rig it buy putting rubber bands around the strap holder, which I swap out every month or so, or the strap starts coming off again when I pick it up, slamming down on my feet again. I’ve also pinched my hand and left multiple bruises with the lid trying to empty it out multiple times. I wasn’t expecting to get hurt using this thing, and I wish I had purchased elsewhere.

Falls Over, Strap Falls Off

I actually bought this four five months ago and wish I had waited before leaving a review. I already knew it was not leak-proof because of the dry ice compatibility. But since the design is not leak proof, it should have been designed better to not fall over all the time. Back seat, trunk, etc. I think that’s been my biggest disappointment. I agree the strap is always disconnecting; not while carrying but anytime immediately before or after. And this is more of a buyer-error, but the internal dimensions are very awkward. On the outside it was about the size I wanted for quick trips for one person portability, and i bought it mainly for keeping groceries cool on potentially hour long drives. But the dimensions were not suited for groceries, too narrow to fit food in so i often need to leave the top open more like an ice chest. The ice retention has been good. We prechill overnight when we remember to. I think that means cold retention is okay too.
