I didn't do my usual due diligence prior to buying the cub. Turns out I didn't have to. This is a truly fantastic product. I liked it so much that I've already purchased another! The sound is unbelievably clear and you can crank the begeezers out of it for a great party sound. I may have to get one more for a true party mode.

The Cub is the size I never knew I needed! The Ranger has been perfect for golf with the magnetic attachment but doesn't float. The Cub is perfect for hauling to the soccer field and canoeing on the river. It's easier to haul along than the larger OG. Plus, the sounds great and we don't feel like we are missing the volume.

Excellent quality & sound? It’s amazing how good the sound is. Bought the Cub because a reasonable “smaller” size but still sounds outstanding. The Stereo/party modes are great. I’ve teamed the cub up w rangers I already owned & couldn’t believe how they filled up our pool area without “cranking” them up! Get you one, anyone!

We bought this for hanging out at the lake at the boathouse and for the boat. It’s hard to hear the stereo hen you’re in the water so we just set this by the ladder and listen to tunes while we float and relax. It had great sound and looks cool too!

I have had this a month now, had to wait for shipping because it had just been released. I love this better than the ranger!! I also have the Gen 3, the sound may be a tiny bit better on the Gen 3, but the cub more than makes up for it in size and weight
