LOW TORQUE DESIGN

  • The KBS putter shaft is bored directly toe-ward near the CG at a 1° shaft lean with 25mm onset behind the face allowing golfers to realize the benefits of a new stable, toe up design.

UNIQUE SOLE SHAPING

  • New and improved sole shaping to work specifically with this unique hosel configuration, engineers worked tirelessly to find new ways to improve accuracy from the moment the putter is placed behind the ball. The new sole curvature accommodates different player types and ball positions, giving golfers the ability to find a consistent and repeatable stroke.

SPIDER STABILITY

  • Combining high density stainless steel and low-density aerospace quality aluminum provides the perfect foundation for a design that is high MOI and allows for a shaft orientation that sits closer to the face.

MILLED TRUE PATH™ ALIGNMENT

  • Based on Tour player feedback, TaylorMade was tasked to find a new premium alignment system. Building on the classic TaylorMade True Path™ technology, milled lines the width of the golf ball were added helping golfers properly index to center face.

PURE ROLL™ INSERT

  • Made from a combination of Surlyn and aluminum, the black Pure Roll™ insert creates a softer feel. Grooves are angled at 45° to encourage optimal forward roll as well as better sound, feel and overall roll characteristics.

Offer More Shaft/neck Options

Please release this exact Max head, but without the ZT shaft location. Make it like the Daddy Long Legs mallet with a single bend, half-offset shaft! I know this is a popular shape and more neck options could really boost sales and usage.

Great Putter For Short And Mid Range Putts

Very nice putter with pros and cons (with my experience, for what it's worth) First, the pros: - Zero Torque is real. It's not a myth. This thing is stable and it's automatic inside 10 feet. Unless you get REAL handsy with it, all you need to do is get it pulled back smooth and let it flow through the ball and it just goes online every time. - Feel (on short putts): The face feels good. It's on the soft side. Softer than the standard spiders (like my tour and tour X). - Look: This will be a pro or a con for different people. It's BIG. This can either be too much or it can inspire confidence. It was more of the latter for me. The cons (again, for me anyway): - Distance/speed control. Inside 10 ft it's automatic but the further I got, the harder it was to get speed right. Oddly enough, the harder you hit it, the softer it feels, which translated into unpredictability for me. - Lie angle: All putters lie a touch toe up for me. I'm 5'8" and run 33" putters. Normally it's not an issue but I found myself hitting the ground a lot during my stroke. I realized it's just because this head is so big from toe to heel that I kept dragging the ground with my heel. I actually ran the standard size ZT for a bit and did not have this issue. - On longer putts where you have to go harder, it seemed that the ball came of sliding instead of rolling, which was probably some of what was leading to distance control issues. I don't experience this with other putters, like the standard spiders. In the end, the distance control killed it for me. I have far more predictable and solid control with the standard spider putters, but I do miss the zero torque stability so the hunt continues!

Game Improvement Putter

Love this putter. Feels very solid in the 3-8’ range. I love the built in forward shaft lean. This has been a fun dive into the zero torque putter genre.

Made The Switch To Zero Torque

I like the larger face, it is a very good looking putter. I am still getting use to it going from a blade putter. I do feel more confident when I am lining up for those putts just outside the gimmie line lol
