The Best!

Easily the best putter I have owned! Was using an older model Monza that I loved and did not think it could get better. Well it does! Feel on this one is miles better and it just fits my eye so well. Highly recommend!

What A Putter

What a difference from the blade putter that I have used for years! On the first hole that I used the spider, I sank a 40 foot putt. The distance control so far is outstanding, leaving me at most 3 to 4 feet of putts to finish the hole. I do not have to take as great of a backswing as the weight of the putter allows me to make a more compact swing. I also enjoy the alignment stripes on the putter for accuracy. I am getting more comfortable with the putter as I have used a blade putter for 30 years. So far so good.

Easy To Aim. Great Roll. Consistent Speed.

Have been a Scotty Cameron user for 25 years, starting with various Newport series putters then the Phantoms. Then I tried my friend’s Spider ZT and loved the feel and how the insert got the ball rolling earlier than other putters. But center shafted putters have short sight lines so I sought a heel shafted putter with a long sight line, minimal arc, and minimal bulk. Got this Spider Tour X double bend and it fits my putting style perfectly. The long sight line inspires confidence in the line so all I have to focus on is speed. With the insert that starts the ball rolling right away, my putts are consistent in speed and direction. Short putts are almost point and shoot. Longer putts are easier are more accurate. The Scotty Cameron 9R has very similar characteristics and I alternate between the two with comparable results in putts made. If you have a putting stroke with minimal arc, you won’t be disappointed with the double bend version of this Spider Tour X. Last but not least, the putter cover is very high quality, looks good, and much more convenient to use than the velcro based Scotty Cameron putters.

Improvement

Soft feel off face especially when using a soft ball. Improvement in putts 10ft and shorter. Outperforms my Odyssey Jailbird putter significantly, especially in distance control.
