About This Item
LOW TORQUE DESIGN
The KBS putter shaft is bored directly toe-ward near the CG at a 1° shaft lean with 25mm onset behind the face allowing golfers to realize the benefits of a new stable, toe up design.
Unique Sole Shaping
New and improved sole shaping to work specifically with this unique hosel configuration, engineers worked tirelessly to find new ways to improve accuracy from the moment the putter is placed behind the ball. The new sole curvature accommodates different player types and ball positions, giving golfers the ability to find a consistent and repeatable stroke.
Spider Stability
Combining high density stainless steel and low-density aerospace quality aluminum provides the perfect foundation for a design that is high MOI and allows for a shaft orientation that sits closer to the face.
MILLED TRUE PATH™ ALIGNMENT
Based on tour player feedback, TaylorMade engineers were tasked to find a new premium alignment system. Building on the classic TaylorMade True Path™ technology, milled lines the width of the golf ball were added helping golfers properly index to center face.
PURE ROLL™ INSERT
Made from a combination of Surlyn and aluminum, the black Pure Roll™ insert creates a softer feel. Grooves are angled at 45° to encourage optimal forward roll as well as better sound, feel and overall roll characteristics.

Sinking Putts All Day With The Taylormade Spider Z
I picked up the TaylorMade Spider ZT Counterbalance putter expecting better distance control… I did not expect to turn into a putting machine. This thing feels like it has a built-in GPS for the hole. From tap-ins to “no way this drops” lag putts, I was sinking putts all day long like the cup owed me money. The counterbalanced setup is insanely stable—my hands feel quiet, my stroke feels smooth, and my usual nervous twitch on short putts has apparently retired. The Spider ZT just wants to stay square and roll the ball on line, even when my read is questionable (okay, very questionable). It looks great behind the ball, feels solid off the face, and inspires way more confidence than I probably deserve. Fair warning: playing partners may start accusing you of witchcraft. Highly recommend.

Why Did I Wait So Long
This putter won’t end up in the garage with the others. Very, very easy to roll.

Hands Down The Best
By far the best putter on the market. I had a SC for the past 2 seasons and the change has been full of rewards. The ability to stay on line is like cheating with this club.

Game Changer
I have always struggled with my putting. I was using a broomstick to mask issues I thought I had in my putting stroke. The ZT counter balance made the feeling completely effortless and natural. The insert makes the ball come off of the face rolling naturally and not skipping all over the place 10 out of 10 recommend at least trying it out.
