First off I would like to say what an amazing experience I had with Golf Galaxy and my purchasing experience. The sales staff there really helped me into the right direction and purchase. I am an average golfer (Avg score 97-104), 56yo, 5'7, 210lb, RH. My iron swing speed (84-90mph), Driver/Woods/Hybrid swing speed (88-96mph). When looking to replace my Cobra F7 4HY, I was really looking for a big time boost, its been my favorite club for the last 4 or 5 yrs, my go to on the course. I was looking for the Qi10 to go with my 2024 purchase of Qi irons (5-PW) but not set on anything in particular. I started by hitting my F7 4HY and then hitting the Qi10 Rescue, Max and Tour. The head shapes were different for all 3 models as was the face of the Tour model which was taller and they had different shafts. The Rescue had the Fujikura Ventus TR Blue 5, Max sported the Fujikura Speeder NX TCS 50 and the Tour had the Mitsubishi Tensei AV Blue Limited 65. All three were very easy to hit, but the big surprise was the Tour model. It was immediately noticeable that the distance increase was about 10-15yds more over the other two, but the forgiveness that the club produced. I was able to produce a slight fade or hook at times because the club just did all of the heavy lifting for me and provided amazing consistent shots. I think the face height and the rear weight not only helped produce club head speed but also helped produce higher loft and distance. My spin was brought down significantly over the other two (Tour 2800-3800, Rescue 4200-4600, Max 4800-5300) which equated to straight line distance and accuracy which was something I really needed. I was told also that the Mitsu shaft was also part of that control and accuracy. This club inspires alot of confidence and workability. The club face provided great feedback every single time, I knew exactly where the ball was going and I was not expecting that, once again, I am just an average Joe golfer with average skills looking for a club to improve my game. I've kind of babbled a bit but finishing up here I did also hit the new Qi35 4HY Tour model and will say that it was a touch stronger in all the measurables but on my budget this is an amazing purchase and the team at TM really pulled it out and now to see what else they can help with. This will be my 2nd season as a Taylormade player and I can't wait for spring and the new golf season. Thank you TM, I wish you were still making these clubs, 1yr is not long enough for the run on these when you are still selling the Sim, Sim2, Stealth equipment.
