I have played 5 rounds with these clubs and am extremely happy with them. I played the QI irons for a yr and was surprised how much I am liking these even more. Distance is improving with each round as I am getting used to them. The accuracy and ability to put more spin and stick greens is the best part of what I like best with these irons. I have the graphite shafts and changed out grips to mid-size. The clubs look great and feel great

Gold Standard In Players Distance Category

After having played Titleist irons for many years, I began my search last year for a new set of irons that provided me the right combination of distance, control, and forgiveness. I played Callaway Ti Fusions, Mizuno JPX925 Forged and Pro M15's, Srixon ZXi5, Titleist T250's. All great irons in their own right, but ultimately I landed on the P790's. Why? The P790's gave me all the distance I needed, but also consistent distance on mishits. The distance penalty on strikes off the toe in particular was very good for me. The size if perfect; large enought to instill confidence, but also not too big where it feels cumbersome through the ground. There is also something about the feel of these clubs; not sure if its swingweight or overall club weight, but the P790s just felt like goldilocks in terms of the weight in my hands, and just allows me to swing freely better than any other iron I tried. Paired up with the Nippon Modus 105, these truly have been the best iron I've ever played, and that is not something I expected. One minor note, TM seems to run a pinch shorter than other manufacturers, and that works for me. I've now swapped out the bottom end of my bag with TM as well, with MG5 wedges and Spider Tour X putter. Overall I could not be happier with the P790's, so much so that I purchased another set in black (Shadowfall) for my backup bag. Highly recommended!

Warranty Is A Sham

TaylorMade P790 2025 clubhead flew off on a normal shot. Unrecoverable. TaylorMade will not repair or replace without proof of purchase, name of course, what hole, date, time (even though i have photos of damage and the remainder of the set. I can't find a receipt, so I am out of luck. Their warranty is a sham. The club is current model, clearly inside the 2 year "warranty period.

Loving My P-790 Irons

I've had the P-790 Irons 5 thru PW for some time now and love them. They are fantastic irons. I've regretted not getting the 4 iron as I've realized a gap at that range. I ordered the 4 iron to my specifications. Taylormade was quick to produce and ship it. Like the rest of the set, it is fantastic. Highly recommend!

Get a fitting its life changing when you find the perfect set up. The P790 changed my game. I combo set the 790's with the P770's. The P790 feel nice through contact and provide you with subtle feedback on off center strikes. Been playing my best rounds with the new set up. I customized my clubs based on my fitting and they came very quick and absolutely perfect. Do it. Buy em. You wont regret it.

New Bling Bling P790's

I recently traded in my old irons for the new TaylorMade P·790s, and I couldn’t be happier with the decision. These irons look incredible, feel great, and the performance has been excellent. I’m getting more confidence over the ball and really like the distance and forgiveness. Definitely one of the best upgrades I’ve made to my golf game. Absolutely love these new P·790s! 🏌️‍♂️⛳️

Amazing And Forgiving Clubs

I recently got fitted for irons. I hit Titleist, ping, mizuno, callaway, and Srixon. The last club I hit were the Taylormade P790. They felt and looked amazing. Very forgiving irons. I absolutely love them! I am a 4 handicap and my last three rounds were 73, 71,69.
