G430 MAX Fairway Wood

  • Trajectory Tuning 2.0 hosel adjusts loft + -1.5°, and lie up to 3° flat
  • Ultra-thin lightweight Carbonfly Wrap composite crown, wraps into the heel and toe of the skirt. Weight savings (compared to a steel crown) are allocated to lower the CG for increasing ball speed
  • The 8-layer, one-piece composite saves 10 grams, which are re-allocated within the clubhead to optimize the CG position and increase the MOI. The composite also plays a role in the pleasing sound
  • Variable roll radius creates less loft low on the face to improve performance on thin shots by reducing spin and increasing ball speed for added distance
  • To bring more consistent spin performance, the face is engineered with a complex face curvature that modifies the roll profile, mainly low on the face

I just bought Ping I 240 irons and wanted fairway wood other than a 3 wood and 5 wood. This 7 wood is the best one and easiest to hit per reviews so I jumped on it. Love this fairway wood.

Easy To Hit

I bought this without testing due to a recommendation. It swings smoothly, easily hit off a tee or turf. Many complain about the sound of ping woods, but it sounds solid to me. When struck well, you know immediately. It has a lot of forgiveness for off center shots. I especially like the heaviness of the head for cutting through grass. I wish I had bought this 3 wood sooner.

These Fairway Woods Are Sweet!

These woods were hignly reviewed and now that I own them i see why! They launch the ball, give me a few extra yards and make a nice "crack" on impact. And they look great as well.

Excellent Fairway (Or Tee Box) Wood

This club completes the set. I have all three, 1-3-5, and love the contact these clubs make. My hdcp is average, 16, but these Ping woods have really helped me control the ball more. I have not changed from the standard setup for angle allowed on the hozel.
