Developed following extensive testing with PING's top tour pros to meet their “must haves” -- control and precision -- Blueprint S delivers the score-lowering performance demanded by the best players in the world.

The compact shape fits the discerning eye with a thin top line and minimal offset. The 8620 carbon steel head boasts a clean cavity design, distinguished by an eye-catching forged textured pattern and hydropearl 2.0 chrome finish.

What further sets this iron family apart is the split-set construction technology called “precision pocket forging.” This patented forging technique allowed PING to forge a pocket into the cavity of the 3, 4 and 5 irons. The pocket saves 10 grams of weight, which is re-allocated to increase the MOI and optimize the center of gravity position for more distance and trajectory control.

An elastomer insert is concealed in the pocket of the 3-5 irons, ensuring the solid feel and sound expected in a forged players iron. The 6-iron through pitching wedge are sized and shaped to ensure workability and control.

Actual Club Review To Come...

After a 6 month period of hitting 23 different club heads with multiple different shaft combinations and taking advantage of any available manufacturer's fitting events I finally made the decision on the Ping Blueprint S with KBS Tour shafts. I ordered my new set on June 3rd, received an email that evening with Ping confirming the order and a tentative ship date of Jun 9th. June 12th I reached out to Ping about my order via email followed up with a phone call. On the phone I was told that the club heads were back ordered and due in the end of the week of 6/15, my clubs would be built and shipped out at some point the week after (6/22 week). I found this totally acceptable given an expected 3 week delivery. On 6/15 I received an email that they could not find an order in their system and was called by the wrong name. I responded with my correct name and the order # the phone person gave me. On 6/17 I received another response that my order was on hold due to club heads on back order for another 3-4 weeks which would put them at ping 7/8-7/15 and my order would start the build after that point with a potential to not receive them until the end of July. I do understand that delays can happen, I am very disappointed in the lack of clear communication of any sort after spending a decent amount of money on a product, not to mention a failure to provide a clear resolution or ship date. I am positive that if I wasn't proactive and reach out that I would not have received any notice of what was happening and expected to just be quiet and wait. - I will adjust my review for the clubs when I (or if i ever do at this point) receive them and get a chance to play them.

Feel, Looks, Performance

Players irons that allow some forgiveness but teach you to strike the ball better. These have been so good transitioning from Old TM M5's. I personally enjoy forged clubs because i believe it forces you to learn how to properly strike and these do it

Great feel, easy to work. These irons are the first ones that are able to make it into my bag. After trying min. of 15 different sets of irons over the past 10 years I can finally replace my 15 year old ones. THANK YOU
