Prepare For The Hinge To Lose Its Grip After Months Of Use

I had this back in May and still functions as an eco friendly water bottle. What it gets rights: no leakage, my drink stays chill for over an hour at least, and it’s decently comfortable to hold (with just two fingers). What it got wrong: After three months of use, the hinge started wearing out to the point that the bottle drops from holding onto the handle of the whole bottle is over halfway full. It’s just too small. Additionally, the flip cap doesn’t pop open and have to pull it up (not a big deal).

Love It Except Straw Detaches Constatly

Love it but the straw constatly detaches! It is so frusterating. I have manyyyy owalas with no issues, im not sure if i just got a deffective straw?

40 Oz Owala

Big problem with this bottle. If it is tipped or not held upright, water just pours out right where the hinge is. Keeps water cold but pretty much useless because it’s not water tight.

Tips And Spills

We own several Owala bottles and this was the least favorite purchase. It does not fit in a standard cup holder, so it rolled around the floor of the car. While rolling, it leaked. It also leaked in the backpack, even with the cover on tight and locked. Be sure to check the base sizing if fitting in a cup holder is helpful and important to you. Will continue to buy the brand, just be more picky!
