Rangefinder From Heaven

I had no idea how much impact a rangefinder would have on my game. Glad I spent the extra money on this one. Very compact and clear...if you're reading this and are 'on the fence' take that leap of faith. Guys with the GPS's always want a 'true reading', once you get it... you'll see!

For the money, I expected more accuracy. It is supposed to lock on the pin but frequently locks on something behind the pin and you have to shoot it repeatedly. I do like the stabilizer feature a lot. I am generally happy but it is not as good as I had hoped with the hype and the price.

Removes Guesswork To Attack The Green

If you switch courses week to week, pin placement can be a challenge. This removes the doubt when selecting clubs and judging green depth. It easily locks on to the pin for accuracy.

Great When It Works And Doesn’t Need Service

I bought this rangefinder 2 years ago. First unit was dead out of the box. Returned and they repaired(did not send new). Used for a little over 90 days. Same problem. Just would not turn on and shoot. Send in again. They covered it for free and repaired. Unit lasted almost a year and broke again. Now waiting for them to open up their repair shop. Closed for COVID 19. Great when it works and their return procedures are simple. But they break too often. Regret not buying Bushnell now.

Very Clear Picture!

When I first key on the flagstick, a yardage number comes up that is not accurate. I then key a second or third time, and I get the correct yardage. There is no information in the instruction manual to help me correct this-

I’ve been using this Nikon golf rangefinder for several months now and it’s the best. I should know, I have literally tried 6 or 7 now. Cost me some money but this will hopefully be my last. Hard to beat a 5 year warranty.

If You Have A Tremor This Is For You

I have a hand tremor. It's hard for me to write legibly, and I sometimes have to hold a glass or cup with both hands to drink from it. I've never been able to hold a rangefinder steady enough to use it. This rangefinder is magic. I look through the eyepiece with the power off and everything is jumping all over. Press the power button and the magic happens - the image stops moving and I can lock it onto a flag hundreds of yards away. Thank you Nikon.

Excellent Rangefinder!

Overall, this is the best rangefinder on the market, better than Bushnell. The image stabilization on this range finder is absolutely phenomenal. I tried Nikon Coolshot pro and Bushnell Tour V4 side by side, and picked Nikon without any hesitation. I was able to see huge difference on Image Stabilization. And the view, aiming target and display were much clearer than Bushnell. Only downside is the case. Case is not something to look fancy. It is similar to the case that comes with Nikon's entry level compact camera.
