Promising Golf Shoe Made For Any Condition But Must Have A Slim Foot

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GORE-TEX makes these shoes feel ready for any weather, and I like the clean black design with the 3M accents. They feel comfortable when trying them on, and the materials seem solid. My biggest issue is the fit. They run very narrow, even on my slim feet, so I’d recommend sizing up if you have wider feet. I’d love to see a slightly wider fit in future iterations. As someone new to golf, I want a shoe that keeps me covered no matter the conditions, and these seem promising.

Good Shoes But Too New To Tell

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I tried testing these shoes but hadn't had much time to as I was testing my other Pegasus 1 golf shoes. I wore these shoes to the range and they are very stable, especially since they are somewhat high tops. These are water proof shoes so pouring water on them was the only test I could do and the material held fine, without getting my feet wet. The feel is overall comfortable. I do like the all black, but contrasting the look with a touch of gold, silver or another color would make these shoes stand out a little better.

Style

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great golf shoes. Epically when playing in the morning and there is dew on the the grass, you don’t have to worry about your toes or toe box getting wet walking between holes. The colorway is classic and doesn’t take away from the outfit being worn. The grips on the bottom have the short cleat like aspect as well as the long flexible brush like ones. The long flexible ones aren’t needed in my opinion and can easily be pulled off. The price is a little steep as well compared to other golf shoes Nike has.

Spectacular Gore-tex Shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Nike Pegasus 1 G shoes are spectacular. They live up to the GORE-TEX standard to keep your feet dry with its high quality materials. Even in the wet conditions the grip of these shoes won't let you down as you walk around. From the very first moment you put them on they feel absolutely comfortable to wear for as long as you need to due to the cushioning. The fit is true to size so you don't have to worry about it being too tight or have your foot sliding around. Putting them on is a breeze as it has a bit of a stretch to it and has a heel pull tab for extra help. Are they the most stylish shoes out there? No, but they definitely get the job done. Usually I am a fan of an all black shoe but here i'd have to say they need a bit of color to make them stand out a little. Something as small as a white/grey swoosh would have done quite a bit of difference in my eyes. Although it being all black does have the benefit of it looking less dirty in the long run but in the end this is just a trivial matter in the grand scheme of things.

Super Waterproof Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Nike Pegasus is a really solid shoe with a sleek design. I got it in black so it looks extra sleek. The material feels high quality, durable, and waterproof. I haven't had a chance to test out if it is truly waterproof, but at first glance and feel, it does seem water resistant. The fit of the was excellent and wasn't too large or too small. I was able to walk around comfortably all day. There isn't anything that I would change about this shoe. It's a good choice if you are looking for a reliable waterproof golf shoe!

Unparalleled Performance

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 1 G Gore-Tex provided amazing waterproof protection for keeping my feet dry during an early morning tee time. Usually, being the first group of the day means battling the dew and damp conditions during fall in the northeast. The Nike Pegasus 1 G Gore-Tex kept my feet completely dry and water seemed to bead up and roll off the material with no absorption whatsoever. There is extra material at the ankle which conforms to your body and prevents water from dripping down inside of the shoe - brilliant! My only concern was the narrow toe-box, but this is my experience with most Nikes. It was not significant enough to cause blisters or rub, but just enough that it felt extra snug. For the durability and water performance, I can absolutely overlook the tighter fit. I usually have an extra pair of socks in my golf bag for those early mornings and I did not even consider changing. There is nothing more distracting than a soggy sock and shoe on the course.

Perfect

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These Nike Pegasus shoes are the perfect shoe for golfing. They come with weatherproofing material which is a nice added touch. My husband did wear them in the rain and they wore absolutely perfectly. His foot stayed dry the entire time without any issues. They are also super comfortable on the feet with some added cushion to it. Being that they are Nikes, they are also very stylish and pair well when you dress them up or down. My husband is a size 8.5 and the fit him perfectly so they are true to size. The shoes also come spiked and they are non-removable. I wish they were to make them a little more versatile but that is not a deal breaker for us. Overall, a great and comfortable shoe.

If you live in a climate with wetter conditions, the GORE-TEX outer layer also does a great job keeping feet dry through the round. Overall a solid shoe for the Fall and Winter.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first thing I can say about these shoes is just WOW! I decided to save this review for a day when I could actually put these shoes to the test on the golf course, and today was that day. I went golfing with a group of friends. As I was getting ready to take my swing, I couldn’t help but notice how good my outfit looked in the sunlight. These shoes really brought my entire outfit together. However, it wasn’t just the appearance that impressed me. The comfort was just as good, so let’s start this review by talking about that. First, these golf shoes are extremely comfortable. From the moment I put them on, I felt like they fit almost like a glove. They provided enough room for my feet while still maintaining a snug and secure fit. I was comfortable throughout my entire time on the golf course, which is extremely important when you’re spending hours walking and playing. Another feature I really appreciated was the soft material around the shoe’s collar. The material felt very soft and had a nice amount of elasticity, allowing it to stretch slightly as I pushed my foot inside. This made putting the shoes on much easier while also providing additional comfort around my ankles. Another thing I really appreciate about these Nike Pegasus golf shoes is the Gore-Tex technology. I’m actually very familiar with Gore-Tex products because I used to wear Gore-Tex boots and clothing back in the late 2000s when I was in high school. I’ve always appreciated the waterproof technology, so seeing it incorporated into these golf shoes was a huge plus for me. The Gore-Tex material provides additional protection against wet conditions, which makes these shoes even more versatile. I feel like these shoes are practically indestructible! Of course, no shoe will last forever, but the overall construction gives me confidence that these will hold up extremely well over time. Now, let’s talk about the design because Nike really did its thing with these shoes! I absolutely love how the Nike Swoosh is subtly blended into the shoe rather than being overly noticeable. I also love the reflective 3M shoelaces, which add another unique element to the overall appearance. The “Engineered for Golf” branding on the interior is a nice touch, along with the Gore-Tex logo positioned along the inner midfoot panel. Another feature that caught my attention was the golf branding on the back of the shoe. I especially love the glossy black plastic detailing surrounding the golf-inspired outsole pattern. These small design details really complement one another and give the shoe a stylish appearance without making it look too flashy. One thing I’m particularly interested in testing is how these shoes perform in different weather conditions. Since they feature Gore-Tex waterproof technology, I would love to wear them on a snowy day to see how well the traction holds up. I honestly feel like these shoes could be used for more than just golf. The design and outsole traction make me curious about how they would perform during other outdoor activities involving grass or uneven surfaces. Stylish, Comfortable, And Great On The Course!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently got the Nike Pegasus 1 G GORE-TEX golf shoes and I really like them so far! They’re super comfortable, fit true to size, and have great traction throughout the bottom of the shoe, which really stands out to me. The material feels high-quality, and I love how stylish they are! They didn’t cut back on the design for sure. It hasn’t rained here yet, so I haven’t fully tested the waterproof feature, but I played on a damp course and my feet stayed completely dry. Honestly, there isn’t much I would change. I’d just love to see a few more color options! If they didn’t have spikes on the bottom, I’d definitely wear them as everyday shoes, too. So far, I’m happy with them!

Great Golf And Landscaping Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great golf and landscaping shoes that can pass as regular shoes. BONUS that they are waterproof! They’re comfortable, look great, and have a sporty design that works both on and off the golf course. The fit feels good, and the waterproofing is a big plus for wet grass and rainy days. It kept my feet on the warmer side, but overall comfortable. Definitely kept good grip. I can wear them all day. As a former military member, I know quality materials and solid construction when I see them, and these shoes definitely fit the bill. They feel durable, well made, and designed to last. I also like that they look more like athletic sneakers than traditional golf shoes, so you can wear them casually also. One thing to keep in mind is that the traction on the bottoms can definitely hurt if you accidentally step on someone's foot. Other than that, we're really happy with them. They're stylish, practical, and well made. I'd love to see a few more color options, but overall, they're a great pair of shoes.

Great Comfortable Shoe

The colors were perfect since I like a more subtle look and was able to wear with just about anything. They did take a few wears to break in but once they had a few wears were rather comfortable. I would recommend the shoe and have nothing but good things to say. 5 stars to this shoe!

Tough Shoe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The shoe fitment was really snug. I walked a 9 hole course with this shoe on by hole 5 my foot was aching. The waterproof did keep my shoe dry, this was a neat feature as we played while it rained. The spikes are a mix of plastic spikes on the toe box and rubber spikes on the heel. This did provide me with great footing during swings. I did like the overall design of the shoe. Personally, I am not a big fan of all black shoes. But the waterproof material and silhouette of the shoe are really nice. The quality of the shoe did feel premium. I really enjoyed the spike pattern for golf. It gave me good stability to little to no slippage. I would just ask for a little more comfortable version of this shoe.

Amazing Grip

The feature that stood out the most was the amazing grip on the bottom compared to his past pairs, which really helped him feel grounded in his swing. Since he wears shorter socks, it did take some time to get used to the shoe's ankle collar, as it rubbed against his skin at first. Rest of the shoe is pretty comfortable. Overall he loves the look of these shoes.

Great Golf Shoes

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I played one round in the Nike Pegasus 1 G GORE-TEX golf shoes and I'm really happy with them so far. The first thing I noticed was the design. It's sleek and attractive, and they look great out on the course without being flashy. The comfort stood out most when I was walking the long par 5. It's the kind of hole where your feet can start to feel it, but mine felt great the whole way, and overall the fit and comfort were good with no issues at all. I also stepped through some puddles and moist ground during the round, and my feet stayed dry, which is exactly what I want from a GORE-TEX shoe. Another thing I really liked was the cleats. They really stuck to the ground, and I felt planted and confident on my swing instead of worrying about my footing. The materials also impressed me.
