Highly Underrated...a Must Try.

Maxfli Tour X exceeds expectations. Though on paper I may be just barely at the clubhead speed for these, I am starting to buy in to higher compression leads to higher ball speeds. For me, it is in fact true...I have measurably picked up 5-7 yards through the bag vs. a Srixon Z-Star. At 95 mph with the driver, these are performing great. Plenty of spin around the greens, with low spin off the tee. I can flight this X ball down when needed better than the Pro V1x, Srixon XV and the TP5x surprisingly. It does not feel as hard as you think a 100 compression ball should either. Lastly, VASTLY more durable than any other X version I've tried this year from major manufacturers (I have tried them all and there is no contest on durability.) I played one for 54 holes before taking it out of play. Very underrated ball in my opinion and one of the best I've tried in 40 years of playing, and note, I haven't even spoken of the price which is an added bonus...shhh, so they don't raise it!

I tried these for the first time based on price and huge talk about being the best ball on the market for distance, definitely not the case lost 30 yards compared to my number 1 choice. But overall good ball.

Maxfli Golf Balls

For the last two years I’ve been gaming both the Maxfli Tour X (Summer) and Tour S (Fall/Winter) and can honestly say it’s one of the best direct to consumer balls on the market at roughly 20% less cost. While the Tour X provides unmatched distance the Tour S provides me with better feel and control especially during the winter. If you haven’t tried these you should, even MGS consistently recommends the Maxfli brand over other well-known brands.

After reading the reviews on My Golf Spy I wanted to try these out for myself. I'm tired of paying $60 for Pro V1's. Current hdcp is 4. These are GOOD golf balls. Great distance with the driver, and feel nice coming off the irons as well. I like to play low spinning shots around the greens and these reacted very similar and as expected. Further testing needed but I felt like I didn't get great stopping on full iron shots into greens. Check and hold was good but not great and only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.
