Bay Area Golfer
I purchased a pair of Premiers in 2009 and wore them until 2021, walking most rounds. They were by far the best golf shoes I ever owned, maybe the best shoes, period. I purchased these last year knowing they might not be as good, but they fall exceptionally short of even a bad golf shoe. First off the fit: I typically wear a 13 in 99% of the shoes I own, across various brands, so I purchased a 13, and the fit wasn't even close. I went to my local shop and got fitted, and not only was I a 12, I was a wide, something I have never worn in my life. The gentleman in the store admitted the sizing and quality had taken a nosedive in the last couple of years. As for the on-course wear: I have worn them now for probably 15 rounds, all walking, and I have never had so much foot pain after a round. The shoe doesn't feel like it has broken in in the slightest. It somehow feels worse. I have also tried inserts, and nothing helps. Somehow that isn't even the most frustrating part of the shoe. The tongue moves throughout the round, and usually by hole 3 or 4 it slides so far to the side that I have to retie my shoe. I played my last round in them this past Sunday and officially decided they are best fit for the trash. I had high hopes for these shoes. Spending this much on golf shoes with such a great legacy shouldn't cause so much complication.
I have been wearing Foot Joys for over 50 years and they never ever disappoint. I have tried other brands but always go back to FJ
Best fit and comfort for my narrow feet. Walked 36 holes second time out. No problems! Love these shoes.
#sweepstakes These shoes are the most comfortable golf shoes I've owned. Feet feel supported and helps to feel stable in the swing.
Good looking shoe & very comfortable. Comes in a narrow size which is hard to find in golf shoes. Wish FootJoy would expand the line of narrow shoes as they produce a quality product.

Owned a pair of footjoy fields for scotland golf, gave me terrible blisters, mustve gotten the wrong size. Owned a pair of footjoy pro SL's super comfortable as well as the gfore gallivanters. These surprised me, I was hesistant to go back but after trying them on and sizing down correctly, which for me is a full size down they fit perfect for Arizona golf. They are rigid and stiff and that is what I like in a golf shoe. If you like more movement do not get these. They feel incredibly stable and I have no regrets. Although ive only had one round in them and a couple of range sessions, I am very happy with this purchase and think that they are worth the money for the comfort and premium materials they provide.
Great shoes! Very comfortable and stylish. Have worn 3 times already in wet conditions with no leakage.

I might be in the minority on this, but I happen to love the slight redesign and fit of this year's model. My favorite FJ since the DryJoys Tour.

Once you get the size right, these are gold! I used to be 10.5 M and now 10.5 Wide seem to fit better. Looking forward to wear these out!
Still struggle with change in your last a few years ago. The 10w in your premiere model and field model are too narrow in the 10W in the toe and in the one premiere model I BBB found a 10 extra W and the heel was too roomy. I think Footjoy is abandoning the 2E of the past.

I've tried the new premiere and hyperflex shoe and both were very tight to point of not being able to wear them. Also, I could feel every spike location through the shoe when I put it on.
These are an awkward fit now with the extra padding that was added through the tongue and midfoot. Not my favorite here, but the new spike system is a benefit
