Callaway Quantum Max OS Hybrid

About This Item

Quantum Max OS features an oversized, draw-biased shape with high MOI, designed for easy launch and maximum forgiveness. Ideal for golfers who struggle with a right miss or need help with getting the ball airborne.

Speed Wave 2.0

  • Positions weight low and forward for faster ball speeds and consistent launch. The new Speed Wave 2.0 design frees up even more face flex, boosting energy transfer—especially on low-face strikes.

New Step Sole Design

  • The new Step Sole Design reduces turf contact on the sole for efficient strikes and consistent center-face contact. A reshaped heel adds stability through impact, helping keep the face square for greater control and accuracy.

Next Generation Ai-Optimized Face Design

  • Consistent performance across the entire face, thanks to smarter face flex unlocked by Ai. Every part of the face is precisely tuned through advanced Ai modeling to optimize speed, spin, launch, and accuracy based on real hybrid impact patterns.

Fine-Tuned Flight and Forgiveness

  • Heel-toe weighting supports straighter shots or subtle shot shape correction, while the OptiFit4 hosel lets you adjust loft and lie for optimized launch, gap consistency, and seven unique ball flight options.

Shallow, Easy to Launch Profile

  • Quantum Max OS exhibits a friendly, forgiving look at address in an oversized shape and transitions perfectly with the Quantum Max OS Irons.

Easy

Easy to hit. Straighter than my old club. I’ve got a slow swing speed.

Great Fairway Woods

I bought a 5 Quantum Max OS hybrid and it hits great. Nice ball flight and real solid feel. Has helped fit a gap in a much needed yardage. So much easier to hit than my 5 iron.

Completes My Set

I changed these because I was happy with my other Quantum clubs. I haven't used them much yet, but they perform as well as my others.

Excellent Choice For My Game

I have had this club (5hybrid) for 6 weeks. Took a bit to figure out lie/loft adjustments. Once that was settled I have found the club to extremely helpful - more height, more yards, great out of the rough as well. I like the slightly larger head, effective and more functional for my swing.

Excellent Club

Needed my four hybrid to fill a gap between clubs, easy to hit, high, launch, trajectory, and perfect weight and balance.

Quantum Hybrid Upgrade Are Well Worth It

I took advantage of the 2X trade-in special and bought the Quantum driver, 5 hybrid and 6 hybrid. All have performed great. I upgraded from the AI Smoke models. There is a positive difference in yardage and forgiveness. Great deal with the trades. Highly recommend.

Great Forgiveness

My Quantum 6 hybrid is an excellent club that provides me more consistancy and forgivenes than my 6 iron. I'm still waiting for my trade in refund.

Very Forgiving And Higher Ball Flight

Flex is 5.5, which is regular flex. I tested several loft and lie angle changes with the new hosel setting. It's easy to hit the ball higher and a very forgiving club. With the factory original setting, the ball flies high. So I won't change the setting for now.

I’m extremely happy with this Callaway golf club. The quality and craftsmanship are excellent, and it feels great in your hands. The club has a solid feel at impact and has definitely helped add confidence to my game. Callaway continues to make high-quality equipment, and this club is no exception. This 5 Hybrid Is Almost Too Easy To Hit.

I’m still fairly new to golf and this club has quickly become one of my favorites in the bag. The Quantum Max OS 5 Hybrid is incredibly easy to hit and gives me a lot of confidence standing over the ball. It launches easily, feels great through impact, and has been very forgiving when I don’t catch it perfectly. What I really like is that I don’t feel like I have to swing out of my shoes to get a good result. A smooth swing and the club does the work. I’ve been able to hit it consistently from the fairway and rough, and it’s becoming one of those clubs I reach for whenever I need a dependable shot. If you’re a newer golfer or just want a forgiving hybrid that’s easy to get in the air, I’d absolutely recommend giving this one a try. It’s staying in my bag.
