I Want My Elyte Driver Back

I bought this driver 3 weeks ago and have 9 rounds at my club and two rounds elsewhere. I don’t know what it is but i do not hit it as far as my Elyte driver ( SAME SHAFT —VENTUS / VeloCore) i am consistently 8 to 10 yards behind my Elyte driver. To me this new driver has a louder face, not as forgiving on off center hits, hot as high of launch angle. I have owned every driver that Callaway has made —— to me the Elyte is better. I am a single digit handicap and have played this game a lot of years. I rate this new Quantum Max driver a 3.5 out of 5.

Farther Carry, Great Sound, And Forgiving

The ball definitely carries further and sounds great on contact. More shots do seem to hang on then leaking right like my older driver. The adjustability is incredible! I wish there was some type of metric or guide for all the different variations of adjustments.

Disappointment

played multiple rounds with this new driver. never hit a drive as far as my ping g430. the sound it made was nothing like the one I tested. it was nearly impossible to change the settings on the head; screw would not tighten without huge effort. I traded it back in to Callaway for other equipment.

Love the club! It really snaps off the center of the club and my hits off-center while don’t go as far, the dispersion tends to keep me in the fairway. Overall I’m stoked that I bought this and look forward to getting out and playing more and more every week.

Definitely Worth The Upgrade Over The Ai Smoke

Replaced my Ai Smoke w the Quantum. Definitely suits me better and more consistent. However, not sure if it’s worth the upgrade over the Elyte. My other driver, TMQi35 is definitely the same distance. Love this driver to replace my Ai Smoke.

Trade Up To Quantum

I traded my Elyte Driver in for the Quantum and I am extremely happy I did. Not that the Elyte was a bad Driver at all. But, I feel like the Quantum is a little more forgiving which allows me to put a little more heat on my swing and ratchet up my club head speed. The feeling off the face is phenomenal and the ball just seems to keep going. Love this Driver.
