Love The Look, Sound And Feel Of The Driver

I used the driver for the first time yesterday since May recovering from chemotherapy and was able to hit this driver the same distance as before my procedure. Once I fully recover I know I will pick up another 5-10 yards in distance.

First Brand New Driver

I bought this driver last month as my first ever brand new driver. I have been using a used one I bought before and had very little luck hitting a fairway with it. Since I began using the Max D, I went from 30% fairways hit all the way up to 84%! The second I took this club to the range an found its sweet spot, everything clicked in a way I could never get my previous club to. My distance has also went from 210 carry up to 264 carry with this Driver. Will definitely be back when I'm ready for my next upgrade.

I love this driver. This driver added about 20 yards to my drive. I usually have a slice and this draw bias driver helps me hit into the fairway a lot more now. I’m 64 years old and my swing speed has slowed, but the regular flex shaft works well for me.

Driving Went From Zero To Hero Overnight

Picked this driver up and have used it throughout five buckets of balls and five rounds of golf and I can honestly say it was the best money I ever spent on a driver. I went from a constant slice to driving right down the middle almost every single drive. I don’t know distance gained because I was always in the woods on the right. I did a stance adjustment and added this driver, that’s it. Driving went from the weakest part of my game to the strongest part of my game overnight. I love it!!

Not A Shot Shaper

I’ve been fighting a slice for years. Fortunately I had finally figured it out with the Elyte Max D and the Vanquish 40R flex shaft, with pretty good, if inconsistent, results. Naturally Callaway came out with something new, so I traded in the Elyte for the Quantum Max D with the same Vanquish 40R shaft. Now I’m snapping it 30 yards straight left. I finally figured out that the Vanquish 40R shaft was way too whippy for my 90mph ss. So I went to the Denali Frost Blue 5.5 shaft on the Max D with a 1 inch piece of lead tape on the heel. Voila! Range test when I was fresh, everything was going where I aimed. I’ll have to see how this setup works when I’m dead tired on the last hole. My distance seems about 10 yards less than the Elyte, but that could be due to rainy season has softened the ground. But honestly I don’t see that much difference between Quantum and Elyte. Quantum toe hits are punished severely, losing 30 yards, and the trajectory is either too low or too high. On 6 of 14 driving holes on my course, I need to hit either a draw or a high fade over trees. The Quantum Max D just doesn’t answer the call often enough, but maybe it’s me. (It has been hot.) I also had the Triple Diamond Stadium Glow for a few rounds with the LINQ shaft, but couldn’t get the height or the draw.

Great Job Callaway!

I just completed my second round with the Max D after switching from the Quantum Max and I’m glad that I did. Easily the straightest most consistent driver that I’ve hit. My only complaint is that I wish it had the matte finish to cut out the glare, but other than that I’m loving it.

Fantastic Feature And Extremely Forgiving.
