High Loft, Shorter Distance

Elyte HL irons are easy to hit, but they are one to two clubs shorter due to their relaxed lofts.

Elyte Hl Irons

I received these Callaway Elyte irons 7 to A and have been impressed by them. With my old iron, the Tommy Armour 845 Tungsten with the Recoil ESX 460 F2 senior shaft, I couldn't get the ball to launch high into the air; it was a low arc, whereas with the Elyte HL with the Vanquish 4 R2 shaft, it launches way high, and my chip shots are a lot farther and better as well. I have been telling people about the Callaway pre-owned clubs.

Great clubs. High launch is right! Easy to hit and very forgiving Started with a 9 iron and added 7 and 8 irons.

I Should Have Asked First

Add expensive mistake I thought I was buying clubs with a senior shaft - in fact the R2 is a very light shaft and It is almost impossible for me to use these clubs as there is just no feel In them and consequently I get no power. Being in Australia it will be an expensive exercise to return them so I will need to consider alternatives. I have purchased many other clubs successfully from thi site over the past 15 years, and this is probably one of my worst errors.

Great Iron For Seniors

Bought these 2 weeks ago. Love the HL model. Went with lighter graphite shafts and have noticed length gained on shots and good feel.

Nice Looking

Still getting used to them. Much diff than the steel shafted irons I’ve been playing for 25 years. Clubs are great looking but the AW does have more scratches on it than I’d expect from clubs listed as “like new.” But the other clubs look to fit that description better.

Review Of Hl Callaway Irons.

The Callaway HL irons are very solid and look good. My only concern is that they had midsize grips installed on them (guess they were replaced rather than stock). Am pleased with the trajectory and length.

Great Feel & Play

I've only played a few rounds with these clubs, but can feel and see improved accuracy and distance with these irons (especially when I can put a good swing on them)! Higher ball flight as well! Very happy so far!

The Height You Know You Need

The height and stopping power of these irons are so much better than my previous Mavrik's. Excellent forgiveness on mishits as well.
