12 Handicap, Perfect Fit.

I was fitted for irons last year and ended up with Apex Ai 300s. I wasn’t hitting anything that well so it wasn’t really productive. I love the Ai 300s but decided to blend in some Ai 200s. They have been great so far. I did the AW-7 iron. They definitely feel better and I find myself puring them much more and the higher lofts give them better stopping power and I’m hitting them longer also. Like buttah. I think I was too advanced for the Ai 300s to begin with. I’m very happy with these.

Make Sure You Get Fit

I had been playing the Apex 21 from Callaway. They were a great iron, but they were ballooning in the wind. I went into Golf Galaxy and got fit and found a shaft combination with the AI 200 head that reduced the spin without having to manipulate my swing. As a high swing speed player the combination of the shaft and head has reduced back spin, but also helped reduce some side spin so I’m making more greens and regulation.
