If You Don't Like A 3w This Might Be For You

I have always tried to get along with a 3w, but it's 60/40 for me. 60% it behaves, but the other 40% is just bad. It doesn't leave me in a good spot or get me into more trouble. My 3w main uses are to gain me more distance on a par 5 and to recover from bad tee shots. Every time I stand over 3w, I just don't have as much confidence in it as the rest of my clubs. I tried replacing my 3w with a 3w HL, hoping it would be easier to launch, but I still get the same results and the same level of confidence. I've been hearing a lot of good things about the GOAT (2021) OG Apex UW. I couldn't get my hands on the OG model for a reasonable price, so I got the 2024 model. I did have a bit of buyer's remorse thinking I should have splurged for the 2021 or the new 2026, which many have said is a great predecessor to the OG due to the step sole being brought back into the design. I would have to say that when I got the 2024 Apex UW, I was reassured about my purchase. Cause this club is amazing! I can swing harder with more confidence. I've been tracking my game through Shot Scope, and the Apex UW has been gaining me strokes since I started using it. I will never look back at a 3w. If you are having trouble with a 3w, I think the UW is a great upgrade. I feel it's a bit more versatile out of more varying lies than the 3w. I hit my 3w HL 16.5* around 230-240. I got the Apex UW 21* and I can hit it 230-250, but I have reached 270 if I put my all into but my grouping gets a little sloppy at that speed.

Utility At Its Best

Love these clubs. I took my 3 wood out of my bag years ago. Too inconsistent for me. I missed the distance I got from the 3 wood when I hit it well. With these utility woods I get the distance and consistency back.

Solid Club

I’m still trying to find the optimal ball position in my stance for the trajectory I want.

23°!

Snagged a 21° and a one-off 23° of the 24’ model. Had a 19° that just went too far! Love these things. Condition as expected. I’m 15 hdcp for what it’s worth.

Amazing Price And Quality

I love it. It came in great shape and very to little marks on it.

21* Uw Great So Far

Great club and a great price even used. Replaced my 3h with the 21* UW and it’s going to stay in the bag for a long time. Really just the perfect combo of attributes. The face is pretty low profile. So, it’s easy to hit off turf like a hybrid. Sits neutral at address and doesn’t hook left as bad as most hybrids. Shaft is a little shorter than most woods to help with control. The head shape is nice and compact. And it’s insanely long for how high the loft is. So. You have a nice looking wood/hybrid blend that goes high and far of the deck without turning left.

Great Club!

I bought this a month ago and love it. It is great out of the rough fairway and off the tee. I also get more distance then my previous hybrid. I highly recommend this utility wood!

Great Club!

Bought this a couple of weeks ago and with the break in the weather, I've hit it at my local driving range. Easy to hit ... love it!

Awesome Club

I bought the 19 degree several weeks ago go and loved it and decided to out th 21 degree in as well. Easy to hit, very long, but yet stops very well on the greens.

Long And Straight

Bought club a month ago. Have used it on short par 4s. It is straighter and longer than other clubs I have played. It is my favorite club in the bag right now on certain holes.

Just What I Needed

Love this club. Really helps with greens in regulation on those long par 4’s and 5’s. This club is long.
