Very well made and great looking irons. The feel at contact is so solid and soft. I highly recommend these to low to high handicap players, they're that good!

Look Awesome. Feel Awesome. Good forgiveness for a club that looks like a players iron. For us Seniors who used to play blades and "Balata Balls" these are the closest thing in years to a " Players Club"

I bought these X Forged Max irons about a month ago and they are extremely forgiving, yet excellent to play different shots. Super soft feel at impact and the thin topline for a players club is very appealing to the eye standing over the ball. Very good looking irons!!

Don’t be afraid I’m a 15 handicap I guess average or not that average the clubs are not tiny like blads like you might think very forgiving very soft. I hit them pretty good. Did not lose any yardage from other irons. I’ve played in the game improvement.

I got the X Forged Max 5 and 6 irons to blend with X Forged 7-P, they launch higher and have more forgiveness than the X Forged. More GIR!

I'm a 7 handicap player and was looking for an iron that was not too difficult to hit. This iron was the perfect fit! Very workable but room for error. As a senior golfer, I highly recommend this model due to an all around great iron.

Great irons. Easy to hit. Soft feel. Amazing iron. Good distance and ball flight. Using th eKBS Tour Light Stiff shaft.

Love the irons. Easy to launch with consistent distances.

Great feeling irons out of the center of the face. Got fit for these with the Axiom 100s shafts swinging 7i at 89mph and they are great combo. Feel is great, forgiveness is excellent, especially on thin shots. Thin shots used to soar over the green where now the flight is lower but result is still on green or in some cases pin high. Turf interaction is great for my steep swing (-4) throwing nice shallow divots. I can notice an immediate difference on how quickly they exit the turf where as my other irons would dig deep divots. A great iron all around, accuracy with these are insane. I did notice a lower more penetrating flight compared to my apex 21’s which is nice. What stood out most to me was distance dispersion front to back. These are dialed for front to back dispersion which is great, noticed immediate improvement in accuracy which is what we are all after in an iron set. Only complaint is they say they are mid compact but they do have a little chunk to them in 4 and 5i. Nothing crazy but I think a thinner top line in those clubs would make these 100/100 for me. 8 hcp KY

Amazing clubs, easy to hit, with exceptional feel. If you’re on the fence about getting the x forged max, don’t be. You’ll be truly happy about with your decision.

I have played five rounds with them. I was playing T-150's. I ordered these with the same shafts and grips as my T-150's. I had to have the lie angle raised 1 degree after a couple of rounds because I couldn't stay off the toe. This showed me how forgiving these irons are. After the lie adjustment, all specs Loft, Lie, Shafts, Grips are the same as my previous irons. I hit these so much higher and about a half a club farther than my previous irons. I really do not understand why, but I love it. I can also work these so much better. I am an 11-handicap, with approach play being my biggest weakness. I am looking forward to what happens over the next few months.

I have been playing Callaway irons for years. I have played Apex 14, 16, 19, 21 and the 200 AI, none of them compare with this set for looks, feel and playability. I carry between a 3-5 handicap and have played Pro to standard model irons over the last few years. As I have gotten older I switched to the Steelfiber shafts for weight and vibration dampening. My set custom set came inside a week with Steelfiber i95 CW shafts and my customer bends. First range session, and 9 holes, delivered exactly what I was expecting with the same distance as the 200 ai's but far better feel and actually better results on off center strikes. I highly recommend these for anyone in the market for a new set or irons.

Exceptional feel for a players club. The forged/milled head is a work of art. Minimal offset allows you to work and flight the ball. The sound reminds me of the original x forged I played 10+ years ago.

Read Harvey Penick’s book and buy/trade up to these irons. I did -with some reservations- but love the feel of a solid strike from a solid club. Knowing that forgiveness isn’t inherent with these irons has made me a better golfer; Concentration, pre-shot routine, and taking dead aim are now requirements…not options. X Forged Max did that. Have no fear-
