Bushnell Launch Pro

About This Item

Accuracy Above All

  • Your pursuit of longer drives, more accurate carries and lower scores requires knowing the critical data points of your swing. A personal launch monitor will give you these data points, however, not all launch monitors are created equal.
  • Unlike radar-based systems that set up behind the golfer and rely on algorithms to guess what happened at impact, the Launch Pro combines proprietary high speed/high resolution cameras with infrared which has been optimized in an auto calibrating three-camera system to deliver Tour-level performance and accuracy on every shot. We literally see impact like never before and this allows you to trust your swing when it matters most.

Anytime. Anywhere.

  • Where other launch monitor technologies struggle with ambient light sensitivity, small hitting windows and incomplete performance capturing capabilities, Launch Pro delivers unmatched precision and reliability both indoors and outdoors. You can choose any practice venue you want with Launch Pro: the range, the course, your garage or your own simulator room. You can now practice any aspect of your game anywhere, anytime you want.

Know Your Numbers

  • We measure what matters, and we do it with the most accuracy and consistency of any personal launch monitor. Launch Pro provides exact carry distance, clubhead speed, launch and spin. When you know your numbers and measure what matters the most, you can take your practice sessions and performance on the course to the next level.

True-To-Life Simulation

  • Launch Pro gives you true-to-life simulation and lets you enjoy the best of both worlds by allowing you to play on the world’s best courses and dialing in your game on the range. Launch Pro precisely captures and analyzes ball and club performance where they matter most – at impact – to give you unmatched ball flight data in any space you can safely swing a club. Whether you want a basic setup in your garage or a custom indoor simulator room, Launch Pro is the answer.

Great Launch Monitor For Price

Bought this launch monitor to primarily use on range and playing on a short course. Have had a blast using it and would recommend to anyone considering!

Ball Data

Ball data measurements from this unit are very close to GC Quad by Foresight.

Listen To Negative Reviews

The software coming out from Foresight is making this completely unplayable. It can't hold connection between the unit and the computer for more than 2 shots at a time. Stay away from this at all costs!!!!

Buyer Beware

So let me start off by saying I have had nothing but issues with the launch pro and the forsight software. I am very tech savvy and most people that purchase will not have the patients or time needed to figure out the issues you will have when you try and set up the FSX Pro. The first unit I got had battery issues and Wi-Fi issues Bushnell sent out a replacement unit very fast and did bend over backwords for me. I play competitive golf and needed it for a tournament that weekend and had the unit in 2 days. Well 2nd unit had similar issues battery issue was fixed and the Wi-Fi issue was fixed but still could not connect to FSX Pro to get ball and club data which is the whole reason I bought the unit. So I can say this the tech support at Bushnell does try very hard to help I've dealt with Steve and Both Bobs which Bob is the main tech support guy. The problem is they can only do so much and can not fix any software issues that is left up to Foresight to do and foresight seems to not give a crap about it at times since they no longer own the launch pro and sold it to Bushnell. First issue with them took 48 hrs to fix this last issue took a whole week. Do some searching and read reviews on FSX Pro it will more then likely change your mind on purchasing the unit. Not necessarily Bushnell's fault but none the less to use the launch pro and a iPad or computer what ever your at the mercy of the software which is not cheap and has a yearly subscription fee. So on to the complaints about the unit its self. The unit WILL NOT work very well in sunlight. I know right I mean don't most people go to the range and work on our game in nice weather. I mean i go every day no matter what wind rain sun I go because I feel like I will have to play in the element's so I might as well practice in them but most people will go when its sunny. Th unit uses infrared cameras and if the sun is facing the unit you might as well forget about using it. If the sun is in your face might as well forget about it. If the sun is to the back of the unit will catch shots 60% of the time. If its cloudy out the unit works flawlessly. My next issue is with the balls needed to get the most accurate data need to be white premium balls. I play at some very high end places and they even use yellow range balls. So this is something I'm still trying to figure out how much the data is off with yellow range balls. I know for instance with my 4 iron I carry a pro v 1x 220 and with range ball 190 that's 30 yards lol. So another issue im trying to figure out is club data when I am using a trackman my club patch is between 0 and 3.5 on this unit I get consistent readings at 9 or even higher sometimes. So not sure really how accurate it is. My last complaint is this I bought the unit in February so I could have it and be ready to go once the snow melted and ranges open up. In the winter I hit indoors at xgolf or on a trackman. So I had no reason to use this unit. So it sat in the box for 6 weeks before i used it. There is a 30 day return policy and I have talked with both play better and Bushnell trying to get a return authorization for the unit. I feel like since I didn't use the unit in the first 6 weeks of owning and they can see that by looking at when the unit was registered and see exactly when I had my first session on the unit they should allow me to return it. I've gone through 2 units and its still not working correctly or I have areal hard time using at the range. But still no return authorization I am currently waiting on a call from a supervisor from Bushnell and if they give me return authorization I will update my review. At this point I will be looking into buying a trackman. I do not have the time to waste 2 hrs at the range to hit 75 balls and my time is more valuable then the 17k difference in cost. Buyer beware I hope this review while long winded helps many before they pay 3500.00 for a glorified paper weight. If anyone would like to contact me directly please DM on Facebook Jeramy Michael I will be glad to talk with you.

Buyer Beware

Foresight started doing updates around the first of the year and can't seem to get it right. Hence the multiple new updates attempting to correct the problems. I would NOT spend any money until you are able to verify, they have resolved their issues. I am stuck with a $7000 paper weight that can be used with data provided from the unit and no software support from FSX 2020 or FSX Play at this time. Tomorow will be another half day spent trying to resolve the problems with their tech support. I had FSX Play working last week after 1.6.1.6 This week after 1.6.2.0 it is dead in the water.
