High Performance Fairway Wood
This club is really useful and has made for a very satisfying purchase. I am surprised how large the face area is compared to the head volume. It's extremely forgiving from heel to toe. I get great ball flight and distance from toe mishits. It doesn't like to be hit thin, but that's to be expected. The face depth, the square face angle and its familiar shape make it very comfortable behind the ball at address. I'm usually a shaft snob... but the stock Ventus suits me just fine. I like a little higher ball flight in my fairways and I don't mind sacrificing a few yards for spin that will help hold the greens.
