After ordering two different items (different orders) from Golf Galaxy online which were woefully the wrong size (e.g. “Medium” shirts cut to children sizes), I tried to buy this putter in person. Unfortunately, when I went to my local Golf Galaxy, the putter was sold out. I resorted to placing an order for a NEW putter at the store, having Golf Galaxy place an order to ship the putter to my house. When I got the putter, it was clearly used and had no actual packaging around the club, wear on the putter head, and an already half torn off sticker on the shaft (sticker residue/glue included). This is wholly unacceptable when you’re paying sticker price (no pun intended) for a brand new club. If I’m paying extra for a new club, I want a new club.
I wish I could even give a fair review of this club, but now I need to go take this putter to my local store and try to be made whole from this issue. Unfortunately, this is the only place I review Golf Galaxy where it will have any meaningful impact.
So if you’re wondering: How’s the putter? My answer is: I wish I could tell you. All I can say is BUYER BE WARE. Golf Galaxy’s online order fulfillment has now thrice proven to be an untrustworthy source of golf gear. If you can, buy in the store. But do NOT buy new products on here unless you want to roll the dice on actually getting what you ordered. I, for one, will not be making big ticket purchases like this with Golf Galaxy again unless I know for sure what product I will be taking home.
