I saw this on another cart when I played golf with a friend, and I decided it would be a great gift idea for my Dad who is retired and plays in a golf league twice per week. I bought it for him in November 2022, and the audio and connectivity are great. By the time we played golf in October 2024, it had died...at this price point, I expected better quality and that it would last more than two years . I finally called Bushnell Customer Service, and all they offered me was a 20% off coupon to buy a new one, but they have no way to repair or take it back (and the label states the battery can't go in the trash, so it is going to Best Buy for electronics recycling). Bushnell's first explanation was you can't leave it charging overnight...I think they need to improve this product to optimize charging the way Apple iPhones do. Their other explanation was that you can't leave it for months at a time without a charge...example was up north where golf is seasonal, but we live in Texas and play golf year round here. I am hoping future versions have better battery life and that Bushnell will put more effort into sustainability (have a trade-in program or some way to take them back and recycle the batteries properly).
