Not Recommended For Players Who Walk The Course.

I walk the course when I play. I wore these shoes for 2 rounds (one of them was Torrey Pines South) after the first round the joint under my big toe was a little sore. After the second round I was in pain. This is the first time I’ve ever had any foot pain. I believe that the sole of the Samba is too flexible and the way they bend in the toe lead me to hyper extend my toes when going up steeper inclines.

A solid golf shoe and a great alternative to all the J’s you see out there. Super comfortable and my go to for the course. A little squeaky at first is my only complaint but after several rounds it’s all good.

Redesign The Tongue To Prevent Ankle Irritation.

I really wanted to give this 5 stars. The problem is the tongue is very rigid and too long. It irritates the front of your ankle and in my case actually caused red chafing and a little bleeding. If it was made of foam or a softer material it might have been OK. This is a primary design fault and never should have happened. Adidas, you REALLY didn't need a logo on the tongue. Make the tongue shorter. I really hope Adidas redesigns the tongue or at least uses softer material. I actually cut the tongue shorter and problem was resolved but it's just not a quality design. The shoe itself performs well and felt comfortable walking 18 holes. The style is wonderful and the fit was perfect. The tread kept me stable and I did not slip while swinging.
