R7 QUAD WEIGHTING SYSTEM

  • The new quad weighting system features four movable weights (13g x2, 4g x2) that provide the ultimate in spin management and shot shape control. Forward CG creates a penetrating flight best suited for maximizing distance whereas rear CG helps prioritize control and ease of use from the deck. Shot shape can also be fine-tuned helping create the most optimal flight. Additional weights can be purchased for a wider range of adjustability.

Love The Feel.

I love the club store in Mishawaka did not carried 13° law with a stiff shaft so I had to run to Fort Wayne to pick mine up. That’s the only bad thing other than that the club is awesome.

Fantastic Secondary Tee Club

This model is a perfect balance between a secondary tee club and a mini suited for approach shots. Also the quad weight system gives many options to dial in ball flight. I’m also a big fan of the r7 color scheme and nostalgic looks.

Great Club!

Honestly love the club. It’s like a three wood on steroids, great distance off the tee and it’s not hard at all to hit it off the deck either. I love the face of it/metal and the sound the ball makes as well. I would recommend this club.

Switched From Titleist To Taylormade R7 Mini Drive

Picked up the R7 Mini Driver to replace my Titleist TSR3 3 wood off the tee. The loft of the mini is 13.5 degrees compared to 15 deg on the Titleist. I picked it up primarily to get a little more distance vs the 3 wood and about 20 yards less than my QI4D 9 degree. That's exactly what it does. I hit my Driver up to 280, this new R7 Mini about 250-260. However, the best thing is its much more forgiving than the Titleist 3 wood. Note that I did try the Titleist Mini Driver at 13.5 deg. Smaller head and I hit it about 10 yards less than the R7 on average. Could not be happier with the change to the R7.

R7 Is The Best Mini-driver

Love the R7 mini-driver. I don’t like the large heads on drivers today. The head size is perfect. I am hitting the R7 as far as my driver except in the fairway!

Recommend You Try One!

Absolutely love the launch that I get with this club. Without any fairway woods or long irons, this fills the gap between my driver and my hybrids. It feels easier to hit since the overall length is shorter, but that could be just me.

Adjustable weighting actually works The four movable weights let you tune for draw, fade, lower spin, or higher launch. This is one of the biggest advantages over many competing mini drivers.

My Favorite Club In My Bag!

I love the mini’s. Upgraded to the r7 and it’s better than last years burner. Very close to driver distance with much better accuracy. Great on tight fairways or long par 5’s off the deck! Does everything very well!

Great Adjustable Driver

It's really a great club. I ended up getting one honestly because I just wanted a shorter shaft for my full sized driver and the proposition of a mini driver was always interesting to work on contact and for those courses where the extra full driver yardage might not be helpful. However, I've just come to enjoy hitting the mini off most tees. I do play with the weights forward to create a very hot low spin shot and it's really helped my off the tee stats.
