R7 QUAD WEIGHTING SYSTEM

  • The new quad weighting system features four movable weights (13g x2, 4g x2) that provide the ultimate in spin management and shot shape control. Forward CG creates a penetrating flight best suited for maximizing distance whereas rear CG helps prioritize control and ease of use from the deck. Shot shape can also be fine-tuned helping create the most optimal flight. Additional weights can be purchased for a wider range of adjustability.

No Mini Cooper

This R7 mini driver is everything EXCEPT mini! It's hitting longer than my standard size driver by 20 yards!! The look, feel, control and quality of this driver is everything you'd expect from Taylor Made. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looker for a smaller head driver than can out perform the bigger heads with more distance and control.

More Accurate, And Still Good Distance!

This fits right between my driver and my 3-wood, as you would expect. Easier to hit than my Qi10 driver, but it is about 20 yards shorter. That’s ok of I hit more fairways! So far I’ve only used it for tee shots, so can’t comment on how it is from the fairway. It’s great, though, for tighter holes and courses!

Nice club, easy to hit . Not as long as driver but I got a 15.5 loft to be a fairway finder, about 220 yards off tee.

Surprisingly Easy To Hit

Easier than I thought to head off the deck. I have the fifteen degree it launches off the t.Awesome and love it off the deck as well

Club provides great flexibility in shaping the golf shot. I love the shorter length that helps me better control the club and hit more fairways.

Great Build, Colorway And Feel. Throwback Club

Great throwback to early 2000s when I used to own my RAC OS irons. I like the design and colorway on this club. The only issue I have is trying to launch it into the air. I hear that the mini-driver is not to be hit upwards like a traditional driver, but rather hit it squarely to help launch it into the air. I have the 13.5 degree and can see that settings can be changed to add more loft which I plan to play around with. I'm also coming off an injury so I may need to spend a few more days at the range to get used to it.

Happy With The Added Loft.

I have 165 MPH driver ball speed and had trouble with the 13.5* holding greens off the deck. The 15.5* solved that.

R7 Mini

After testing many mini drivers, this is the one. I use mine a lot off the deck and some red shots, I was hesitant at first due it being larger than the Titleist 280 and the rave reviews that the 280 got from the deck, which is decent, but the r7 is much longer with more consistent spin and launch numbers. Great work Taylormade your product line this year is superb, coming from a guy that never really bought TM equipment.
