Cooler is ok, it keeps ice good but no drain plug! Every time you drain the water out you have to turn it on its side then anything left in the cooler is all jumbled up and you have to reorganize before you add more ice. If I’d known it didn’t have a drain plug I wouldn’t have purchased it.

Great Little Cooler

This is a great solo use cooler for me. It fits a need when it’s just me (fitting a deli sandwich, sides, snacks, and a few drinks). I will use this for work meals, fishing, picnic for 1-2, taking to the ballpark, long drives, etc. It’s a little bigger inside than the flip 8 and the hard cooler option allows use as a table or seat. Tie down slots are integrated into the comfortable new small haul handle and includes a rubber grip for wet hands and good grip when full, though I like the optional double duty strap you can buy for hands free use. Fits more than it looks like it should. Great compliment to my roadie 15 and tundra 35. Size may not be for everyone but then, neither is the tundra 160. For those needing to fit this size and use need, it might be perfect.

Another Great Yeti Cooler, Just Because...

The Roadie 8 is a great cooler. I especially like the firm Smallhaul handle and the new single Quicklatch. The only drawback to this cooler for me is that I already have a Roadie 15. The Roadie 8 is just not that much smaller in its overall size than the 15, to warrant the extra cooler for my needs, but I bought it anyway, just because... Would anyone else be interested in Yeti Anonymous meetings? Ha!

I purchased the Roadie 8 for work use in Phoenix Arizona. Looks and feels very durable just like all other Yeti products and coolers. My only complaint is that the depth of the cooler seems to be disproportional to the length of the cooler. The height and length are great. Not too much room for bigger ice packs on the bottom of the cooler due to the depth being shallow compared to the length.

I bought this hard cooler 2 weeks ago & I have used it almost every day since I got it. We have many Yeti coolers but this is the best one for sure. I love the handle. I’m not a fan of the strap handles. This one is real easy to use. I also love the binder handle. It is one handed instead of having to use two hands to latch 2 bungee latches. So much nicer. And the size is perfect for almost every trip out the door for one person. It holds 8 cans and the perfect amount of ice if the cans are pre-chilled. If you want enough for 2 people, you probably will want the Roadie 15. But I love the size of this one & all the features. I have this size in a soft Yeti but I despise working a zipper every time I want to get in it. By far, this cooler is my favorite!
