Cooler held ice and 12 cans overnight and then kept the ice over the day pretty well in around 85F temp. Cooling the drinks before putting in the cooler is a must! The size and weight of the cooler is perfect for a 1 or 2 person day trip and holds plenty of ice. Had it out on the golf course and it stayed waterproof the whole time with no leaks. Zipper is much nicer than other brands I have had.
