20 Oz? Not Quite

The name of this product is very deceiving. I purchased it thinking it would hold 20 oz of liquid, but it actually only holds about 16 oz if you want to be able to put the lid on. I even filled it all the way to the rim, and it only held 18 oz. I was disappointed by this because the advertised 20 oz capacity was one of the main reasons I chose this product. That being said, it does a great job of keeping my drinks cold or hot for a long time. I also really like that it fits well in my car’s cup holders, which makes it convenient for everyday use. Overall, I like the quality and performance of the cup, but I wish the advertised capacity was more accurate.

I was hoping to use this to bring coffee to work. As I was walking from my house to my car, coffee was leaking out the top. I didn’t even think to look at the reviews because I assumed yeti was top tier, so I missed the explanation that this lid isn’t leak proof… why would you make a travel mug lid not leak proof??

The 20 oz tumbler is my go-to for travel mugs. It’s the perfect size for hot or cold beverages, absolute best quality out there and I love the assortment of colors!

The Goat Of Coffee Mugs

Probably the best coffee tumbler on the market. Perfect size for a large cup of coffee + cream. Bleeds off enough heat so a scalding hot beverage is drinkable in 40 minutes or so. Lid will reduce leaks greatly if you keep the mag lid closed (can safely swirl the contents to mix without worrying about coffee getting everywhere). It is NOT leak proof. It ISN'T SUPPOSED TO BE leak proof. Fits in most if not all cup holders. Mines been dropped a handful of times and has survived (where many other such mugs dented beyond recognition or the lid shattered). Highly recommend.
