Great Starter Set

Bought this set about a month ago as a fairly new golfer. I have golfed (rarely as a child) before and always used random clubs my dad had. This was my first golf purchase in my adulthood and i'm fairly pleased with them. I can't hate the drivers, I don't think I swing hard enough to do any damage to them, but can still get a reliable 250-300 yards (on a good swing) with them! My favorite of the three drivers is the 5 hybrid driver. The Irons are really great and very reliable. Only thing is I wish the set also came with a 5 iron. I bought a decent 3 and 4 iron from goodwill though, just still haven't found the 5 I'm looking for. The wedge is not great. It is probably the only fault I have with this set. So keep in mind you are for sure going to want to invest in other wedges. I have already purchased a 56 degree and a 60 degree, and am probably going to buy a 52 here pretty soon for those longer wedge shots. The putter is okay. I hated the grip but got a great grip at Dicks Sporting goods and they re-gripped for me within minutes. I will for sure be buying a new putter next year once I am half decent at putting, but for the price of the set and all it's worth it in my eyes. Especially if you're just starting out and don't know what to get to start! My buddy shot with my clubs when we went and played the other day and it inspired him to also buy this set! Great to start with, and then build what you want into it as you keep playing and improving!

Not Worth It

I've owned this set since late November 2023. I've used them on a range about ten times and played a short 6 hole par 3 course about three times with them. The Good: The irons are solid. Well built, solid construction. I really enjoyed these irons, especially for the price. The lack of a degree wedge or sand wedge is unfortunate and you will need one, but for the price of the set, it's understandable. The Bad: The driver is cheap trash. I've barely hit it, as the par 3 course I've played with these clubs doesn't call for a driver at all. I've hit approximately 20 balls with this club and the club face has a dent from ball strikes dead center in the sweet spot. I've never seen a driver dent from impacts with a golf ball. I can only assume that this driver is made with some remarkably cheap materials. Considering how important a driver is when playing 18 holes of golf, I can't reasonably give this set a good review for anyone wanting to get into golf. It's a shame because the irons were great!
