Solid Diver

Very forgiving with large sweet spot. Still making adjustments but solid out of the box

Bad Shaft

Bought this driver 3 weeks ago paired with the PX Even Flow Blue shaft. During my second time out on the course with this combo and the shaft randomly snapped after making clean contact with the ball.

Solid Driver

Traded in my 913 D2 for the 917 D2 and very please with the new driver. More solid and hotter off the face than the 913 which has been a great driver.

Very Nice

This review covers the Titleist 917 D2 driver, all standard with regular flex Mitsubishi LTD red graphite shaft. I had been using a 6 year driver with 46.5 inch shaft and was having a hard time controlling it. I tried out a Titleist 917D2 demo during my next round and loved it. All was standard on the club with no adjustments made. My control was much better and the distance was in my ballpark, even into the wind. The club just felt better and I was sold! I ordered online and received the club after a week or so. The box it came in was pretty banged up and I was worried that the driver may have been damaged in some during shipping. All appeared ok and it performed as expected during my next round. I should also note that the driver came with a nice looking headcover, wrench and fade/draw weight. I'm very happy with this club and would recommend it to a friend. My only complaint was the shipping and would recommend buying at your local Golf Galaxy.
