Spider Tour X Putter

Been putting with my new Spider Tour X for a few weeks now and really love it. The alignment on top of the putter really helps getting the ball rolling in the right direction. The putter just feels good in my hand and on impact. Looking forward to lower scores with better putting with this flagstick.

Putts Roll True!

I went through a full bag fitting recently and it included the putter. I was told in a fitting almost 6 years ago that I should be in a mallet putter because of my putting stoke, but at the time, I wanted to stay in a blade putter. They put me in one that responded like a mallet. This time around I bit the bullet after the fitting to go with what works. After seeing it roll on the green during the fitting, I could tell this one was different. I'm glad I did. I have a couple of live rounds with the putter and it rolls great. Even others in my group can tell the difference when it comes off the face. I putt with much more confidence, knowing that I can hit the 3 footer coming back. Would highly recommend giving this putter a try to see if you have the same results. I will say, it does help to have someone look at your stroke to determine the best style of putter though. Knowing that I need toe hang for my stroke help me start the putt on my line way more often than before.

Making More 10 Footers!

I used a Scotty Cameron blade putter for 15 years and prior to that, a Ping Anser 2. I had been toying with the idea of switching to a mallet putter, not because I was 3 putting a lot, but more because I didn’t feel like I was making enough 8-10 foot putts. I finally pulled the trigger and I can already see a difference in made putts, but also in proximity to the hole on longer putts. Definitely the best upgrade to my game over the past 15 years!
