Great Clubs, Specifications... Not So Much

I've played TM irons since the 300's came out, and used my set of TP RAC CB's as the template for many premium builds and blueprints. Shoulder surgeries kept me away from the game for the past couple years, but now that I'm healthy again, I just got a set of P7CB (because they remind of those TP RAC CB's from 2005). They are great clubs, but TM need to make their measurement standard more obvious when ordering custom irons as they are about 1/4" short of their old standard. Not knowing this, I ordered standard length. It wouldn't have been so bad except the swing weight came in at C9.5 on every club, instead of the D3 spec. If you're coming from Titleist, you'll want to order +1/4" to match your old Titleist clubs. Coming from Calloway or Mizuno you should be fine.

Fantastic Irons!

Using them as my low irons (7-PW) in a combo set along with the P-770’s as my high irons. Fantastic feel and workability! You definitely feel when you have an off center shot but, even then, they are still relatively forgiving for cavity backs. Love the way they look both behind the ball and in the bag!

Smooth & Soft Forged Irons

These irons are incredibly soft. Additionally, their face construction allows for controllable spin. Couldn't be more pleased with these irons and how they have elevated my game.

Very Easy To Hit

These clubs have absolutely changed the game for me. I have the CBs in my long irons and hitting more greens than ever. Great clubs!

Great feeling irons. Traded in my old P7MC for these and I’m in love with the look and feel. Very good upgrade

Switch From Callaway To Taylor Made After 20 Years

New Taylor made P-7CB, Just made the switch after two decades on the Callaway VIP program. The Taylor Made program was great, added 50% to the value of my trade in Irons. My only complaint is that I called the support line the day after I submitted the order when I noticed my loft request wasn't confirmed. The rep was very helpful, and offer for me to send them back for the loft adjustment. I would have preferred to wait a few more days and receive them with the correct loft. Also purchase the Srixon combo irons at the same time with the correct loft. Basically deciding who to support for the next two decades.

Really Good Iron. Hope They Make Next More Durable

Amazing iron, loft, look, feel are amazing. They are also forgiving for what they are. As always, small increases in forgiveness and maybe a hair more pop in the next gen could be perfect. The biggest issue, however, is how beat up they get and super fast. Hope Taylormade can make a more durable product with the next gen. That change, plus incremental gains, without hurting the look and feel, would be huge.

Feedback

Great feedback from the irons. Do not miss the center or you will feel it. Still they travel very well on mis hits. I have them paired with DG 115 Mid 4 thru PW. Great combination

Best Cb's On The Market!

Purchased full set up P7CB irons - I had previously played full set of '23 P7MB irons and those are still all-timers, and I'll be keeping them as well, however wanted something with similar look that had a touch less spin with a touch more forgiveness and the P7CB were the best purchase. I have played T100 and T100S in the past and although the looks were good, they spun about the same, and the trajectory was higher than what I wanted to see. The P7CBs fit the bill perfectly - they are even more forgiving than what I anticipated and they flight the ball in a much better window where I feel like I have a lot of control and they still very easy to shot shape. I don't think there's a CB out there that has this great of feel either. My hunt for irons is over - these are $$$

They irons have the best feel of an iron I've ever hit, while still having good forgiveness. The look is outstanding as well and just overall the nest irons I've hit
