The 2025 P790 debuts an all new ultra high strength, high speed forged face material (4340M) that is 20% stronger than previous generations. 4340M’s increased strength unlocks a thinner face and faster ball speeds while simultaneously increasing the sweet spot size by up to 24%.
INCREASED DISTANCE WITH IMPROVED GAPPING
A faster 4340M face, individual head optimization, and FLTD CG™ for precise center of gravity (CG) positioning generates increased carry distances with optimal launch and spin windows for betting gapping through the set.
FLTD CG
New for 2025, an even lower CG in the long irons enhances launch and playability, while a higher CG is designed to improve spin rates and control in the scoring clubs. FLTD CG designs strategically position the center of gravity lowest in the long irons and progressively shifts higher for optimal launch and spin windows throughout the set.

Great Players Distance Irons.

18.9 Hcp - Love These Clubs. Battle Worn
I was using Taylormade Burner 2.0's from more than a decade ago and recently bought the P790's Battle Worn. My buddy had me do a fitting and and these clubs beat out the others. Thanks to both Golf Galaxy and PGA Suoerstores, where I got fitted, yes, twice because I have trust issues. They're amazing, and feel so nice to hit. I'm an 18.9 handicap, and with those shot my first sub 90 round. The grips are ok, I say that bc I've played them in both Northern NY and the Florida Keys. The high humidity they weren't as good as I had hoped. Yes, they not only play amazing, but also look amazing, and Ive had a ton of compliments.
